On the Left – Choi Chun Yin Ryan of Hong Kong (FIE Rank 13)
On the Right – Takahiro Shikine of Japan (FIE Rank 5) – reigning Asian Champion from Chiba 2019. Shikine won a silver at the final event before the Olympic Games – Qatar 2021 Grand Prix. Shikine also won a bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships.
These two have never faced each other on the senior circuit.
