There was a slight adjustment made in The Floor Room.
– From this moment each platform had a short rope attached on the wall so that someone who had successfully jumped could help the other players by clinging on this rope and then using any limbs as an extension of the body to shorten the distance between platforms.
– During Trial of Downhill, there were originally a short rope that the player had to reach and cling to in order to release another long rope. From this moment the short rope was removed and the long rope would be immediately available since the beginning of trial.
Koki Tanaka made the best comeback scenario in The Cave Room. After both of his teammates Ken Maeda and Masanari Uchima failed in the first cave, he eventually made three consecutive correct answers and then cleared the Trial of Lithographs by himself, and still had 30.7 seconds left (out of 1 minute). Note that from episode 9 onward (the next four episodes), thinking time would be increased by 30 seconds (from 60 to 90 seconds). If this rule were applied, Koki would have finished the trial with 1 minute 0.7 seconds, one of the most remaining time in the series.
In The Cliff Room, Tatsuya Ueda became the first person who fell down not during the quiz. He also became the first person who fell down during opponent’s turn.
Moreover, the result of this stage was the only time in the series that all players fell down, leaving no survivor in the stage.
However, Koki Tanaka didn’t have much luck as his first stage and showed the worst performance on the Final Trial, as he couldn’t even manage to answer one question before falling down.
When looking at the whole show, this episode had the worst result ever, because all players except Koki Tanaka failed their first stage, and everyone fell down in The Cliff Room, which brought the final score of 1-0, the lowest possible score in the show. And Koki Tanaka couldn’t even answer one question on the Final Trial also greatly contributed towards the aforementioned conclusion.
