近年、眼に見えない海洋汚染として注目されている海洋マイクロプラスチック。東京大学生産技術研究所 価値創造デザイン推進基盤のDLXデザインラボでは、海洋マイクロプラスチックを調査、研究するための様々な装置やツールを開発しようとしています。2020年8月、試作したプロトタイプのテストを調査航海（新青丸 KS-20-13）において実施しました。調査船に乗船して実海域という非常に厳しい環境で行った海洋試験の様子をご覧ください。

In recent years, microplastics in the ocean has been becoming an invisible marine pollution problem. The DLX Design Lab, Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo is developing a variety of equipment and tools to investigate and study ocean microplastics. In August 2020, the DLX Design Lab tested the prototype in a research cruise (Shinsei Maru KS-20-13). The test was conducted under tough conditions of actual seas on board the research vessel.
