When he was little, Monta easily got lonely. In his childhood, Monta was often being chased by an elderly gorilla Momoko. They grew up together. Monta is more interested in human females. Very sad, but that attracts female visitors. If you have a chance to see him indoors, he sometimes comes closer to show his face. He plucks his face hair constantly. He desperately needs a partner. I believe this can be prevented if the zoo puts more emphasis on environmental enrichment.
モンタは甘えん坊で、年上のモモコに追いかけられる幼少期を過ごす。遠目はいかついが、よーく見るとやさしい目をしている。人間の女性に興味あり。不運だけど、それがモンタがファンを惹きつける理由でもある。室内では顔をまじかに見せに来てくれることがある。顔の毛を抜く行動が見られる。パートナーが見つかることが最善ですが、まずは環境エンリッチメントの工夫が早急に求められます。

About:
Rola has difficulty in communicating with other gorillas. Especially when she is put with a silverback, she becomes ill. Hence, we assume she lives alone. She loves sunbathing, specific male keepers, tomatoes, and last but not least earthworms. She occasionally shows abnormal behaviors such as coprophagy, licking urine, regurgitation and reingestion. I believe they can be prevented if the zoo puts more emphasis on environmental enrichment.
ローラはゴリラとのコミュニケーションが苦手で、シルバーバックと一緒にされると体調が悪くなるため、一人で飼育されていると考えられます。日向ぼっこ、特定男性飼育員、トマト、ミミズをこよなく愛しています。ローラは、たまに食糞、尿をなめる、吐き戻しなどの異常行動が見られます。特に吐き戻し行動は健康被害を及ぼす可能性があるため、早急に分析と対策を練って改善してほしいです。環境エンリッチメントの強化をお願いしたいです。
