China Culture Center
There’s probably no better way to gain an appreciation for a medium (or a mode) than trying your hand at it yourself. That said, if you’ve ever lost yourself in a gong-bi painting of some loquats, consider turning up at China Culture Center this Saturday morning for a Chinese painting class. Absolute first-timers and beginners of all stripes are welcome, and the subject matter is a given: birds and flowers.
They are an cultural education organization that has tasked ourselves to share (in English) with others the wonder and diversity of Chinese history and culture.
They are a privately owned and self-sustained organization. They use our innovative travel (CCC Travel) and corporate products to fund our not-for-profit research and cultural education programs.
Most of all, They are a group of English-speaking cultural enthusiasts who want to introduce you to everything about this country, from Confucius to calligraphy, Genghis Khan to green tea, martial arts to feng shui. They are an organization for anyone looking for a way to explore China’s past, present and future.
Since culture is the embodiment of the history and customs of a nation, CCC strives to provide a window into Chinese society.
They were the first cultural organization to specifically cater for foreigners living in Beijing, and since 2000, CCC has become the most trusted travel and learning center, through which expatriates, as well as their visiting families and friends, experience the original China. In addition to a core group of expatriates who frequent our tours, lectures and classes to enrich their knowledge about China, more and more independent travelers and returning visitors are choosing the CCC to help them get under the surface of China.
