現在、世界では、海に捨てられたプラスチックごみによる海洋汚染が、大きな問題となっている。この動画は、令和元年6月28日・29日にかけて開催されたG20大阪サミットで採択された「大阪ブルー・オーシャン・ビジョン」を推進するため、ホストシティを務めた大阪が中心となり、視聴者に未来にきれいな海を残すためには、今が行動を起こすターニングポイントであるというメッセージを発信している。
具体的には、世界の海洋プラスチックごみの窮状を伝え、海洋プラスチックごみの削減につながる日本企業の技術及び製品を紹介し、最後に知事や市長をはじめとした人々のメッセージを紹介している。
