OpenAI、「Sora」終了へ – ITmedia NEWS
米OpenAIは3月24日（現地時間）、「Soraアプリとのお別れを告げます」とXで発表。「近日中に、アプリとAPIのタイムラインを含め、作品の保存に関する詳細などを共有する」としている。

Soraは、2024年2月に発表の動画生成AI。テキストプロンプトから最長1分の動画を生成できる。2025年9月にiOSアプリがリリースされ、ユーザーはアプリ上で生成した動画を共有できるようになった。

昨年12月には、The Walt Disney CompanyがSoraのコンテンツライセンスパートナーとなっていた。米Hollywood Reporterによると、Sora終了を受け、Disneyはこの契約から撤退する予定という。
