72年製作の香港カンフー映画。72年はチェン・シンの快進撃が続いており、「餓虎狂龍」「蕩寇灘」「黒名單」が年間ランキング上位にランクインしている。本作はチェン・シン演じる秘密捜査官が密輸組織に潜入し、組織壊滅を目論むという、明らかに「餓虎狂龍」を意識したストーリーとなっているが、「餓虎狂龍」のようなスリリングな駆け引き等は無く、ストーリー的には特筆すべき点は無い。しかし、作品のクオリティは平均以上を保っており、武術指導をユエン・ウーピンが務めているため、非常に迫力あるアクションが楽しめる。また、当時としては珍しくマースやフォン・ハックオンがメインキャストとして出演しており、ラスボスは何と「ドランクモンキー酔拳」の石頭でお馴染みのサン・クワイが務めている。やられ役としてサイモン・ユエンJr.やユエン・シュンイーらの顔も確認出来る。
字幕はいつも通り、英語音声の自動翻訳から適当に整文、意味の分からなかった箇所は省いたり雰囲気で作成しているので温かい目で見てください。本作は日本でも公開されたため、冒頭は劇場公開時の雰囲気で作っていますが、劇場公開時は日本語吹き替え版での上映だったため、日本語タイトル画面には日本語版と入れていますが、本動画は最も流通している英語版です。ご了承ください(吹き替え版見てみたい・・・)。
ちなみに「危うし！タイガー」の前に日本で公開され大ヒットを記録した「怒れ！タイガー」の日本語字幕版を作ろうと思い、冒頭は作ったのですが、見たことある人なら分かると思いますが非常につまらなく←、作っていて死ぬほど退屈、作ったところで誰も見ないし楽しめないだろうと思い中断しましたwwネタとしては良いんですが1本通しとなると、中々キツい作品です。
