2014年にリリースされた11作目のアルバム『TRAD』に収録された40作目のシングル曲で2013年に先行リリース。黒木瞳主演のテレビ朝日系ドラマ『おトメさん』主題歌。ドラマの内容は嫁姑問題を主題とした家族の再生がテーマとなっているが、曲の内容は ″熟年を迎えた夫婦の再生″ とテーマで、人生の″たそがれ時″に直面した女性のパートナーへの想いを綴ったものとなっている。

It is the 40th single song included in the 11th album “TRAD” released in 2014 and pre-released in 2013. It is the theme song for the TV Asahi drama “Otome-san” starring Hitomi Kuroki. While the theme of the drama is about the rebirth of a family, the song is about the rebirth of a married couple in their twilight years, and describes the feelings of a woman facing the twilight years of her life towards her partner.
