1992年にリリースされた8枚目のアルバム『Quiet Life』の収録曲で、1993年にAGF「コーヒーギフト」のCMソングとなり、22枚目のシングル曲としてリリース。2008年には、P&G「パンテーン」CMソングに。2022年には、映画『いつか、いつも……いつまでも。』の主題歌に採用。
