Chihiro (Mana Ashida) suffered severe eczema when she was a baby. While searching for a treatment her father’s co-worker gave him water from a strange religious group. Chihiro was seemingly cured by the water. After this apparent miracle Chihiro’s parents began to follow the strange religion and became zealous followers. As Chihiro navigates life at her middle school she faces changes.
