Today marks the 11 year anniversary of the Tohoku Earthquake.
These unpublished photos were taken during my time at a Tsunami Relief Volunteer-Recovery Program, a year after the earthquake/tsunami hit the Tohoku region.
I am sharing these photos hoping to preserve the memory for future generations and provide valuable data that can be used toward subsequent relief efforts, the promotion of disaster prevention and emergency preparedness.
