タレントの橋本マナミさんが3月9日、東京都内で行われたWOWOWの特別番組「LPGA女子ゴルフツアー観戦ナビ メジャー初戦スペシャル」の収録後の会見に登場した。5年前からゴルフを始めたという橋本さんは、ゴルフを始めたきっかけを聞かれ「お付き合いしてた人がゴルフやられてたんですよ。デートでゴルフを楽しんでた」と告白した。
橋本さんは最近のゴルフの頻度を聞かれると「最近は2カ月に1回とか。（出演している）番組でまわるぐらいで、練習とかは行けてないんですよね」と寂しげにポツリ。「ゴルフ大好きなので、もし彼がプロゴルファーだったら応援に行きたい」と笑顔で語った。会見には橋本さんと女子プロゴルファーの古閑美保選手が出席した。
番組は、橋本さんや古閑選手、ゴルフ好きで知られる関根勤さんらが出演。メジャー初戦となる大会「ANAインスピレーション」の見どころや注目選手などを紹介する。19日午前11時50分からWOWOWプライムで無料放送される。

Media personality Manami Hashimoto appeared at a press conference on the recording of the special program “Watching LPGA women’s golf tour- special broadcasting about first main match” of WOWOW, held in Tokyo on March 9th.
Hashimoto started to play golf 5 years ago and when being asked about the reason for starting to play golf, she revealed: “I was invited to play golf by my boyfriend at that time. We were very happy when playing golf together during dating times.”
