映画「海よりもまだ深く」（是枝裕和監督、5月21日公開）の完成披露試写会が4月24日、東京都内で行われ主演の阿部寛さんや真木よう子さん、樹木希林さん、吉澤太陽さん、是枝監督が出席。
映画は、「そして父になる」「海街diary」の是枝監督最新作で、台風の夜に、偶然一つ屋根の下に集まった“元家族”による感動の物語。笑ってしまうほどのダメ人生を送る中年男・良多（阿部さん）は、15年前に文学賞を1度とったきりの自称作家で、今は探偵事務所に勤め、周囲にも自分にも「小説のための取材」と言い訳ばかり。元妻の響子（真木さん）には愛想を尽かされ、息子・真悟（吉澤さん）の養育費も満足に払えないくせに、彼女に新しい恋人ができたことにショックを受けている。そんな良多の頼みの綱は、団地で気楽な独り暮らしを送る母の淑子（樹木さん）だけだったが、ある日、たまたま淑子の家に集まった良多と響子と真悟は、台風のため翌朝まで帰れなくなる……というストーリー。

The preview on the completion of the movie “After the Storm” (directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, premiered on May 21st), was held in Tokyo on April 24th, with the attendance of main casts, including Hiroshi Abe, Yoko Maki, Kirin Kiki, Taiyou Yoshizawa, and director Koreeda.
The movie is a new work of director Hirokazu Koreeda – who is the director of movies such as “Like Father, Like Son” and “Umimachi Diary”. This is a moved story about those who “used to be a family” incidentally gathering in the same house in a stormy night.
