Maxell Aqua Park is best known for its spectacular dolphin show which combines light, music, and water effects with smart dolphins to captivate audiences. They also have a jellyfish zone with beautiful dim lighting and multi colours highlighting the jellyfish as they float around freely in large clear tanks.
Dolphin shows will be held a few times a day and also an outdoor show with different animals throughout the day. The theme of the show change occasionally and a night-time show is worth to see it. If you’re travelling with kids, there are a couple of rides for the kids on the ground floor. You can also feed capybara /dolphins with additional fees.
Located just behind the Shinagawa Prince Hotel, only a couple of minutes away from Shinagawa station. I’d recommend this aquarium to anyone who enjoys sea life! Various sea creatures from colourful fish to jellyfish, penguins, otters, sharks, manta rays, turtles, and even capybaras. Please don’t confuse it with another aquarium further away that is also call Shinagawa Aquarium.
