【名古屋→仙台】太平洋フェリーのスイートで23時間船旅してみたら、想像以上に快適すぎた…
Hi, it’s Yuuka! I’m at the Nagoya Ferry Terminal right now. Today I’m hopping on the ferry that’s famous for being the longest route in Japan— the Taiheiyo Ferry *Ishikari*! I actually rode from Nagoya to Tomakomai before, and it took like 40 hours. But today I’m just going halfway, heading to the port in Sendai. Well… “halfway” still takes about 22 hours though. So yeah… it’s still suuuper long. Out of all the ferries I’ve taken so far, this one is my second longest, so I’m kinda nervous. But I’m really excited for the trip! Alright, let’s go! First things first, I’m going to finish the boarding procedures. It’s 5:27 PM right now, and there are only 3 minutes left before boarding closes… *I almost missed the ferry because I was late.* If you’re boarding with a car, it’s over here. The QR… oh no… I gotta hurry… *Scan the QR boarding pass from your email and it prints your ticket.* Got my boarding pass and the sticker for the car! Now I can board with my van! Alright, let’s drive in. There it is—the Taiheiyo Ferry! Last time I rode the *Kiso*, another ship from the same company, but today it’s the *Ishikari*! Still massive as ever. Anyway, boarding procedures are all done! I’m so glad I made it in time. Alright, here we go—departing! I’m not with Papa Clipper today, I’m here with Dai-chan. You’re probably like, “Uh, who’s Dai-chan?” If you’re curious, check out the previous video! Sorry, Papa Clipper… I swear I’m not cheating on you! *Papa Clipper is still in the hospital getting repairs (>_<)* It’s my first time coming to Taiheiyo Ferry by car. I was actually driving from Tokyo to Nagoya just a little while ago. I already posted that video too, but it took way longer than I expected… I planned with an extra two hours, but even that wasn’t enough, so I ended up cutting it suuuper close. *Staff members guide you the whole way, so no need to worry about getting lost.* Thank you so much! *After waiting about 15 minutes, it was finally my van’s turn…!!* *Here we go… wish me luck.* I’m finally driving onto the ferry! Oh no, the bumpy ramp is coming again… It’s like the ship is saying, “Brace yourself, we’re boarding now!” 【Fun Fact】Parking is waaaay harder for me than getting a shot. Thank you! I parked perfectly on the first try! All thanks to the staff helping me out… Alright, time to head inside! Wow, I actually parked really well. Dai-chan’s face is looking as intense as always. The entrance to the cabins is this way. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a Taiheiyo Ferry… I’m kinda nervous! Maybe like… half a year? Here’s the entrance hall of the Taiheiyo Ferry *Ishikari*. This is what it looks like. It’s sooo pretty. Doesn’t it kinda look like a castle? My room is on the 6th floor, so let’s go up one more floor. 604… Where’s 604…? I’m sooo bad at finding rooms. *I proudly hold the title of “pro-level directionally challenged.”* There it is—604! It’s a corner room. Alright, let’s go inside. The key for this room was emailed to me beforehand as a QR code, and that QR code itself works as the room key. So when I scan it… It opened! Huh… is this really the whole room…? It’s tiny… …Yeah, no way that’s it. *The fanciest room I’ve ever stayed in is HERE.* Believe it or not, today’s room is a suite. Let me take a little break first. I’ve been driving a ton today. No no no… let me explain… It’s not like I *wanted* to book the suite or anything. I booked the trip pretty last minute, and this was literally the only room left. Everything else had an X, and only the suite had a circle… So I had no choice but to get this room. It’s not like I purposely chose it, okay? …Though I mean, I’m still kinda happy. Alright, let me show you the room! The entrance alone is already insanely huge… Honestly, I could probably live just in this part. There’s this super spacious entrance area, and some kind of… fish-scale-looking decoration? They’ve got it displayed like fancy interior art. And when you try to walk in, there’s this arched gate thing. Isn’t it super stylish? Inside the room there’s a huge sofa, plus chairs and a table. And there are two semi-double beds. This desk space is also amazing, right? Look, the TV is embedded into the wall. Usually TVs are just casually placed there, *but embedding a TV is next-level luxury.* And there’s a flower vase with… no flowers stabbed into it. Do people who stay in suites usually bring bouquets or something? I didn’t bring any flowers at all… Gabiin… Okay… I’ll try not to be too sensitive about it. And then there’s this super fancy-looking Toraja blend coffee— doesn’t it look huge? And the teacup is way too stylish. Way too stylish. So stylish. *I’ll be careful—not trying to go bankrupt by breaking anything.* Of course, they also have tea. And underneath that… I guess this is the fridge? Look at the fancy “PULL” text—why is even that stylish? This one is the big fridge. Next to it are these ridiculously stylish glasses. Everything here is unnecessarily fancy… amazing. They’re all angular and look expensive. There’s even an ice bucket. Is this… their way of telling me I should drink alcohol? There are cute little seashell decorations all over the room. Over here there’s a golden coral piece. *Tom Nook would probably buy this for a fortune.* And right in the middle of the beds, there’s a single telephone. Doesn’t it feel like if you picked it up, a butler would answer? “Hello, Mr. Butler?” “For tomorrow’s breakfast, will it be sausage and microwave rice, madam?” *I’m not prank-calling anyone, just to be clear.* There’s also an air purifier in the room. Isn’t this a pretty nice one? Look at this— “Welcome to Ishikari.” And this is… a shipboard usage voucher? Is there some kind of coupon inside? It has lunch tickets, breakfast tickets, and dinner tickets. Wait… does that mean all meals are free? Oh no oh no oh no—this changes EVERYTHING. Yes!! I just scored all three free meal tickets! Three meals included?! That’s insane… *I was so happy I almost flipped over.* And if we go over to the sink area, you can see this side is also super spacious. It’s so cool having a separate vanity area like this inside the room. The tiles are ocean-themed too, they’re so cute. But even in a suite, it’s still this same type of hair dryer, huh. The dryer’s the same as always. When you press the button like this, it blows out suuuper weak air. Maybe because of the ship’s voltage, they can’t make it any stronger. And of course they’ve got amenities like toothbrushes and razors too. Behind the sink area, there’s the toilet, which is super clean. I probably won’t even use it, which feels kinda wasteful. Look at this, it even has a massage function. *Not planning to use the toilet, but I’m low-key curious about the massage.* And look at this—what do you think this is? It’s actually a bathtub. Like… isn’t that crazy? So you get in like this, and you’re basically in full view from outside. Oh no… they can totally see me. It looks like this. Isn’t it crazy? It’s super spacious. It’s way too luxurious for just one person. Is that over there… a window? Let’s try opening it a bit. Whoa, that’s amazing. So this is like my own private bath with a view? That’s way too fancy… This has gotta be worth like 32,000 mahjong points. *A yakuman-level bath.* That’s the overall vibe of the room. Seriously, this suite is wild. *Doing a little happy dance.* *Got too hyped and short-circuited a bit.* That’s it for the quick room tour. The ship’s leaving in about 15 minutes, so I’m going to head up to the observation deck to check out the view. The ship has set sail. Right on the dot at 7:00 PM—so punctual as always. We’re moving! Bye-bye, Nagoya, I’ll be back again soon! The night view is so pretty. Last time I took the Taiheiyo Ferry, it was way brighter when we left port. So I thought it must’ve been a daytime departure, and rewatched the video, but it was actually a 7:00 PM departure that time too. *It’s nice how the view changes depending on what season you sail in.* We’re about to pass under Meiko Nishi Ohashi Bridge. It’s so beautiful, right? The bridge is sparkling. Between summer and winter, since I hate the cold, I’m 100% a summer person. But I actually like it better when the days are shorter. When it stays bright for too long I’m like, “Wait, I still have to keep working today?” and I start feeling weirdly pressured. But when the sun sets early, I feel like, “Nice, I did enough for today.” I love that feeling, so I kinda prefer shorter days. *Today I’m going to peek at Meiko Nishi Ohashi from directly underneath.* *It might look a little embarrassing but… forgive me.* *It’s pretty in a totally different way than last time.* *Kinda looks like I’m trying to flirt with the bridge.* *I swear I don’t do shameless things like that.* Alright, from here on out it’s 22 hours of endurance! Found the restaurant! Let’s go check it out. Since I’m in a suite today, I don’t need to buy a meal ticket. Let’s just walk right in. Even in a suite, draft beer isn’t free, huh. Yeah, this definitely isn’t included in the service. *Not that it matters—I’m supposed to be abstaining anyway.* Dinner looks like this, it’s a buffet style. I’m going to grab lots of stuff I love. That’s Nagoya’s famous chicken wings! Look, look—roast beef! All-you-can-eat roast beef? That’s way too lucky… I’m piling up my plate! I got my dinner buffet! I took way too much again… Alright, let’s eat! *?!* Cheers! Refueling… No, wait—let me explain…! Once I got on the Ishikari, my will to stay sober just… evaporated. So even though I swore I wouldn’t drink today, I ended up buying a beer. It looks soooo good—look at it, isn’t it crazy? Why is food on a ferry always so delicious? Oh right—so listen, there’s this thing called “Nagoya-style Taiwan ramen.” It’s apparently a specialty of… Nagoya Prefecture(?)?? So I grabbed one. When I first saw it I was like, “So is it Nagoya or Taiwan—pick one??” Maybe it’s actually well-known? This is my first time trying it. Spicy!! The flavor is pretty strong. It tastes kinda like putting ramen noodles into the spicy Akakara hotpot. It’s super tasty but… wow, my explanation skills are terrible. *I’m bad at food reviews, so please don’t expect much.* By the way, the price of the dinner buffet is 2,300 yen per adult — about $15. But since I booked the suite, my meal tickets are free, so it’s basically zero dollars. Dinner is 2,300 yen ($15), lunch is 1,200 yen (about $8), and breakfast is also 1,200 yen (about $8). Add it all up and it’s 4,600 yen — around $30. So I basically saved 4,600 yen worth! Suite rooms are kinda a good deal, huh? Well… or am I just telling myself that? It *was* definitely expensive though. *But hey, technically it’s like getting $30 off.* Bonito sashimi! Isn’t it crazy that you can eat sashimi on a ferry? No matter how many times I eat it, I’m still amazed. The ship left Nagoya at 7 PM earlier, and it arrives in Sendai tomorrow at 4:40 PM. So that’s exactly 21 hours and 40 minutes. Didn’t realize it takes that long from Nagoya to Sendai. It’s farther than I thought. Oh right— I should take some motion sickness medicine early. Dramamine time. Last time when I went all the way to Tomakomai, I got super seasick, so… I’m kinda scared, so I’m gonna pop it in now. Maybe drinking beer with it is a bad idea… Should I bring it though…? *Let’s not take medicine with alcohol.* Compared to when I rode the Kiso last time, this ship feels way newer inside, so I looked it up— Kiso was launched in 2005, and this one was launched in 2011. So it’s already been 14 years, and it still looks this clean! There’s also another Taiheiyo Ferry called Kitakami, and apparently that one is a brand new ship from 2019. But the Kitakami runs between Sendai and Tomakomai, so it doesn’t come to Nagoya very often. Chicken wings! *When you think of Nagoya, you think of chicken wings.* So good! The seasoning is really strong, maybe Nagoya food tends to be on the richer side? It’s super flavorful and the meat is delicious. *These wings are so good they might start a personal wing boom.* *If you know great chicken wing places, please tell me in the comments.* Thank you for the meal! I’m sooo full. I always overeat at buffets… every single time. But I’m happy. I finished dinner, got super full, came back to my room, and before I knew it, I totally fell asleep. But I booked such a nice room, so it’d be a waste not to enjoy it properly. It really *would* be a waste, so… I think I’ll have a little drink here tonight. Alright then—cheers! Refueling A post-nap beer hits different. I usually drink Asahi Super Dry, but today I went with Clear Asahi for a change. *My heart is excited, my throat is dying.* And also… Ebisenbei no Sato snacks. I stopped by Kariya Highway Oasis earlier today, and I’m gonna snack on what I bought there. I picked their No.1 most popular senbei. It comes with lots of different flavors, and I tried like a ton of samples earlier today. So now I get to eat those same senbei again. Alright, let’s eat. So good… I seriously love these. They’re actually amazing… Once I start eating, I can’t stop. The room I booked this time is a suite, but there are 14 different room types overall. And this suite isn’t even the top-tier room. There’s actually a Royal Suite— an even higher class room. Isn’t that crazy? This room is already insane, so I can’t even imagine what’s above this. Maybe… *It comes with a ticket that lets you steer the ship or something.* Or maybe something wild like “you’re welcome to clean the ferry.” I mean, you never know. *I seriously can’t picture what a Royal Suite would even be like.* I think I’ve ridden ferries more than 20 times by now, but this room is by far the best room I’ve ever stayed in. Last time on Kiso I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and that one was really nice too. It was pretty clean and cozy, but this time totally surpassed that. *No doubt this is the best room I’ve ever gotten.* It’s already getting pretty late today, but tomorrow I’ll basically be on the ferry all day, so I’ll go explore the ship again tomorrow. Alright, I think it’s about time to head to the big public bath. …Wait, I don’t even need the public bath. I have a super nice bathtub right here in my room. So tonight I’m going to use the in-room bath instead. Alright, I’m off! The bath feels amazing. The tub is huge, so I can stretch my legs all the way out. It’s seriously perfect. Since there’s a window in the bathroom, I was like, “The view is gonna be gorgeous for sure,” but… up there on the wall it says, “Please keep the curtain closed at night as it may interfere with navigation.” Since this is the bow side, I guess we’re not allowed to open the curtains at night. So you can only enjoy the view in the morning or daytime. Sadly, I can’t show you the bath scene… So I’ll have to cut it off around here. I’m going to enjoy my bath now, byee! I just got out of the bath. Since it’s nighttime, I couldn’t really see the view, but the space was super big and really relaxing. This trip is 22 hours long, so I’m pretty sure when I wake up tomorrow we still won’t be there yet. For now, I’m going to get some sleep. Good night! *5:15 AM – Pretty cloudy, so I don’t think I’ll see the sunrise.* Good morning. I took another bath this morning, and I finally got to see the view, so I redeemed last night’s regret. But the weather’s pretty cloudy today, so the scenery wasn’t that amazing or anything. If it were sunny I bet it would’ve been stunning. Still, just having a bath with a view in my room makes me so happy, and it totally boosted my mood this morning. There was an announcement earlier, and it sounds like the ship is running pretty late. We’re going to arrive at Sendai Port about an hour and a half behind schedule. So I’ll basically be on board for almost 24 hours. That’s a long time… Anyway, this is what I’ve been excited about since yesterday— let’s take a look at the view from the window. What does it look like? It has to be pretty, right? Okay, here we go—ready… Open! *Even out at sea, my rain-girl powers still activate.* It’s super cloudy—but still kind of amazing. I get to have this whole bow-facing view all to myself. It’s really beautiful. The view looks like this. Just like in the bathroom, you’re not allowed to open these curtains at night on the bow side. So this is actually my first time seeing the view from here too. Let’s open the curtain next to the bed as well. Oh, that’s nice! I guess this is the view from the left side of the ship? Even the window size is on a totally different level. In the usual rooms, the windows are tiny, or sometimes there isn’t even a window at all. As expected of a suite—every window is huge. For breakfast, I’m heading to the same restaurant as yesterday—Santorini. *My fave sausages are here, so breakfast is already a win.* *Grilled hokke for breakfast is such a vibe.* *Baked garlic chive omelet with bean sprouts? Absolutely yes.* *By the way, the whole restaurant has this cool blue-ish theme.* I made it to the breakfast buffet. I went with oolong tea this morning. Honestly, I kinda wanted a beer but… I have to drive once I get off the ship today, so I decided to behave. There’ll be a big enough break before driving, but drinking and driving on the same day is still scary. So oolong tea it is! Refueling (wrong fuel type though) Okay, let’s dig in. Seeing sausages in the morning already makes my whole day. *If I could only bring one thing to a deserted island, I’d pick sausages without hesitation.* So good. They’re the soft, wrinkly type of sausages. By the way, our current location is… somewhere around Katsura in Chiba Prefecture. We’re right around here. We’ve come so far already. Left Nagoya, passed Tokyo, and finally made it all the way to Chiba. Ships feel slow, but actually… they get you places pretty fast, right? You look away for a second and suddenly you’ve crossed a whole prefecture. *Yep, the first 10 hours onboard always go by easy.* Oh, and there’s almost no rocking at all. Even since yesterday, it’s been super calm. Really smooth sailing this time—thank goodness. Thank you for the food. I’m so full… everything was delicious. Now that I’m stuffed, it’s time for the long-awaited ship exploration! Alright, let’s start the ship tour from the 5th floor. And of course… this chapel-like entrance is just too cute. It’s open all the way up from the 5th to the 7th floor, and I guess this is the elevator? There’s also an information desk right across from it. Doesn’t look like anyone’s there right now. Looks like we’ll be arriving at Sendai Port at 6:10 PM today. Next to that, there are lockers for valuables. If you’re not staying in a private room, you can store your stuff here. And here’s the kids’ room. No one’s here, so let’s peek inside. You can see the ocean from the kids’ room, too— looks like even adults could enjoy this. What’s this door? It’s a karaoke room! *You can do solo karaoke in the middle of the ocean.* Looks like you need a reservation, but anyone can use it once booked. Near the entrance, there’s this relaxing area where you can slowly enjoy the ocean view. A proper relaxation space. By the way, this ferry doesn’t have Wi-Fi. Gabiin… But I still had some signal, so it wasn’t too bad. Here’s the gift shop. The shop has specific hours, so it’s closed pretty often. But it’s open right now, so let’s take a look inside. Inside the shop, you’ll find Ishikari-themed merchandise, souvenirs from the Tohoku region, souvenirs from the Chubu region, and even everyday essentials. This gift shop is huge. Look, look! Tons of Taiheiyo Ferry goods! Mini ship-seal stickers—never seen these before. So cute… And of course, my main goal today— the ship seal! I got it again today. *Simple design, but that’s what makes it nice.* I brought my ship-seal book with me today. I’ve been collecting tons of them, and it’s finally getting pretty full. A fan actually gave me this ship-seal notebook, and I’ve been sticking my collection in here. This one’s from the Taiheiyo Ferry Kiso, too. *It was actually a lot of work collecting this many…* If anyone wants to see them in detail, I’ll make a full video showing them someday. That’s the rough overview. I actually have more ship seals, but some are stored in my car so they’re not all in here yet. I need to gather them and put everything together soon. It’s really growing. I think I’ve got around 20 now. They’re honestly my treasures. Alright, let’s continue exploring. Across from the gift shop, there’s a vending machine corner. They’ve got tons of soft drinks, and even Baskin-Robbins ice cream. Every time I see this, I always want one. But lunch is pretty soon, so I’ll hold back… There’s also a whole lot of beer. If you look closely, even though this route goes to Hokkaido, for some reason they’re selling Orion Beer too. Since we’re heading to Hokkaido, it’d be nice if they had Sapporo Classic or something. There’s also a big public bath. This time my room had its own bath, so I didn’t end up using it. Found the game corner! There are so many different crane games. Looks so fun. Look, look—there are Pokémon! They’re so cute. I kinda wanna try this one. *The suite was expensive, so I’m on a budget. I gotta get it in one try.* Right about here… My positioning is actually pretty good, right? Not bad, right? Ahh, no good… Slowpoke… *Since that was such a weak finish, I’ll try just one more time.* Oh no, Anpanman might get in the way… It lifted…! Don’t fall asleep on me, Slowpoke… I just blew 500 yen—about $3… And I still couldn’t get it this time… Last time I managed to win Tai-chan and Heiyo-chan though. No luck today… Alright, let’s reset and move on. Across from the game center, there are massage chairs. I really shouldn’t spoil myself any more than this… If you go further toward the back of the 5th floor, you’ll see a long row of cabins like this. These are the B-berth rooms. No one’s here, so let’s sneak a quick look. The rooms look like this— they’ve got reading lights and outlets, and you can close this curtain to create your own little space. There’s no lock, so it’s not a fully private room, *but once you close the curtain, you can live your best life in there.* If you walk toward the bow side of the 5th floor, you’ll see a long row of First-Class rooms. The First-Class rooms look like this— they’re locked, so I can’t peek inside, but they seem pretty spacious and really clean. Across from the First-Class rooms are the S-berths. The S-berth rooms look like this— they’re kind of similar to the B-berths. You close this part and make it your own little space. That’s pretty much it for the 5th floor. Alright, let’s head up to the 6th floor. The 6th floor has a café space called the Yacht Club. Grabbing a drink here sounds pretty nice. The Yacht Club menu looks like this— soft drinks, beer, chuhai, sake, wine… Wow, they’ve got so many kinds of alcohol. There’s tons of drinks, and they also sell some food too. You can eat at the restaurant, or grab something here at the Yacht Club instead. When I rode the Kiso before, I had this Nagoya Cochin egg TKG set. It was sooo good. *There are lots of seats, so it probably won’t turn into a musical-chairs battle.* Next to the café is the restaurant Santorini. I had dinner and breakfast here. I’ll probably be coming here again for lunch too. At the very back on the stern side is the Mykonos Lounge. They do lounge shows here. The next one’s at 8:30 PM, so I’ll already be off the ship by then. People going to Tomakomai can watch it though. Seems like they show movies here too, like this. It’s playing right now, so maybe I’ll take a peek. *#1 movie I do NOT want to watch on a ship.* From here on is the suite area. When I rode the Kiso before, they had flowers and decorations here. This time it feels a bit more elegant like this. Room 601 here is the Royal Suite. The most expensive room onboard. I’d love to stay in the Royal Suite someday. That’s it for the 6th floor. Let’s take the stairs up to the final floor, the 7th. Oh no… the ship suddenly started rocking… I feel wobbly after just a few steps… This is what it looks like when you reach the 7th floor. The 7th floor is pretty compact. There are Second-Class rooms on this floor. The Second-Class rooms look like this— and they even have women-only rooms too. If it’s a women-only room, you can definitely relax comfortably. Alright, let’s finish things off by going out to the observation deck. There’s an observation deck up here on the 7th floor too. Still totally cloudy. And of course, this time of year the wind is strong and it’s pretty cold. *Thanks to the clouds, you can barely see any scenery today.* *Let’s just call today “Staring-at-the-Sea-Surface Day.”* Oh no… the wind’s gonna blow me away… And it’s even drizzling a bit. Retreat, retreat. I’m literally the only person out on the observation deck. Yeah, with this weather, no wonder no one else is out here. It’s 12:26 right now, and I’ve come for lunch. Since we won’t arrive in Sendai until a little after 6 PM, I’ve got tons of time, so I went back to my room earlier and did some editing and stuff. Today’s lunch is curry. I love curry so much, I’m so happy. Alright, let’s dig in. You can actually try a few different types of curry here. This one’s chunky veggie curry. So good. The flavor is pretty strong, and just like the name, it’s packed with big pieces of veggies. Maybe everyone else loves curry too, because there are way more people here than at breakfast or dinner. Everyone’s come for curry time. This one’s keema curry—doesn’t it look amazing? I’m obsessed with keema curry. The other day when I went back to my parents’ place, I was simmering a big pot of curry, and my dad was like, “Nah, I’m good. I don’t need curry.” So I said, “Wait, is that because of *this curry*… or because you’re getting *older*?” *My dad completely failed to recognize it as a dad joke.* Didn’t land at all… Compared to this morning, the ship has started rocking quite a bit more. Even earlier while I was editing, I started feeling a little nauseous. The waves have gotten a bit rougher. This area around Oarai always gets bumpy, huh? Last time when I went from Oarai to Tomakomai, I got pretty bad seasickness too, so I feel like it’s going to keep rocking all the way to Sendai. Right now we’re exactly by Oarai Port. The little heart here marks Oarai Port, and we’re sailing just to the right of it. I’ve been traveling all over Japan, and I put a heart on every place I visit. So the number of hearts has really grown, and now there are hearts scattered all over the country like this. Isn’t that a lot? I want to fill the whole map someday. *My dream is to cover the whole world in hearts (for peace).* Thank you for the meal. The curry was super delicious. I’m so full now that I’m getting a little sleepy. I’m back in my room. On the way back I stopped by the Yacht Club, and found soft serve ice cream, so I bought one. And I even made myself a black coffee, which I normally never drink. Well, it *is* a suite room after all. I tried to act a little classy. Refueling (wrong fuel type) We’re sailing near the Shioyasaki Lighthouse right now. Apparently it’s 770 km from Nagoya to Sendai. For reference, Nagoya to Tomakomai is 1220 km, so 770 km is actually more than halfway. We’ve got about four and a half hours left. Part of me wants to go out and explore, and the other part wants to relax in the room—those two feelings are fighting. Maybe I’ll just GORON for a bit. I came to watch us pass by the sister ship, Kiso. It looks like we’ll be crossing paths with Kiso any minute now. *This is the crossing with Kiso, which departed Tomakomai.* *People on the other ship were waving too, which made me so happy.* It’s Kiso! I’m so nostalgic I could cry. Heeey Kiso! I’m riding Ishikari today! There’s a captain costume here for some reason. I’m embarrassed, but maybe I’ll try it on just this once… *I’ve decided to temporarily return to my position as captain.* *No matter how many times I wear this, it’s always embarrassing.* Okay, I’m done. I am the captain. The fare for this ship will now be 5,000 trillion yen. *Payment is cash only.* We’re currently sailing off the coast of Fukushima. We’re getting close to entering Sendai Port. Hang in there, Ishikari! I was resting in my room for a bit, and suddenly it’s already 16:52. We’ve officially entered Miyagi Prefecture now. We should be arriving in Sendai Port in just over an hour. The sun’s starting to set, and it’s getting pretty dark. Look, it’s super dark outside. Isn’t the sunset way too fast? Today went by way too quickly… I don’t want to get off yet. *Alright… time to start prepping to scram soon.* *I’ll clean up properly before disembarking since I was well taken care of.* We’re almost ready to get off the ship. And of course, before disembarking, we *have* to end with the arcade. I still can’t let go of that Pokémon… so I’m aiming for this one. Please grab it… please… maybe…? Ahh… nope… Oh no, it won’t pick up… Okay, just *one* more try. Nope… completely hopeless… I’m so frustrated. Oh no… I got way too fired up, and ended up spending **¥3,000** (about **$20**). But… I GOT SLOWPOKE!! Honestly, if it costs $20, I probably should’ve just bought it. But it’s cute, so I forgive myself. From now on, I’ll try not to superchat the UFO catcher too much. Seriously… I need to chill. It wasn’t Papa Clipper—Dai-chan was here! Thank goodness. I made it safely into the car. It was a bit hectic, but I got off the ship safely. Thank goodness. I rode the Pacific Ferry Ishikari all the way from Nagoya to Sendai. Sendai’s not as cold as I expected. Maybe it’s just because I’m inside the car. Last time I rode Kiso, and this time I rode Ishikari, and the atmosphere on each ship was similar but also surprisingly different—super fun. Kiso felt a bit older last time, and that was charming in its own way, but Ishikari felt much newer and trendier this time. And the suite room… well, needless to say, it was incredible. A room with *two* windows? I don’t even know if I’ll ever get another one like that in a video again… So please watch this video many times, okay? And with three meals included, I definitely ate a ton again… Maybe a little too much, but it made me really happy. In Sendai, I want to explore a bit—and of course get some gyūtan! I hope I can have a great time here. Thank you so much for watching until the very end today. If you enjoyed this video, please like, comment, and subscribe! Alright then—bye bye!
