【大阪】泊まれる銭湯がヤバすぎた…岩盤浴・朝夕2食付き1泊4680円
Hi, it’s Yuuka! Today I’m reporting from Suminoe Park Station in Osaka. It took me about 30 minutes to get here from Shin-Osaka Station. Maybe because the rain-girl has arrived in Osaka… it’s raining again today… Osaka people, I sincerely apologize. *But today was supposed to be sunny!* Wait… what is that smell? Is that… real, authentic pizza?! I almost changed my destination… But I somehow resisted… I mean, I can eat something good at the place I’m going today, so hang in there, me… Once you leave Suminoe Park Station, you just walk straight ahead forever. And today’s destination is… drumroll… A super cheap sento you can stay overnight in! Honestly, that sounds amazing. Apparently they have a free shuttle bus, so I’m heading to the bus stop. I safely got on the bus! There are about five passengers including me. A free shuttle is always a blessing. A bus that exists purely to make customers happy. *Why am I the only one carrying luggage like a runaway girl… embarrassing.* *My “Kyoro-chan mode” is activated, please ignore it.* We’ve arrived! Sakaihama Rakuten Onsen Shofuku. It looks like a normal super sento, but… How on earth can you stay overnight here? Let’s go investigate right away. The inside looks like this—super spacious— with plenty of rest areas and dining spots too. On some days, they’re open all night. So you can soak in the baths until you turn into a noodle. The first thing that caught my eye was this wooden box. The inside looks like this— Dark, narrow, and strangely calming. *I love spaces like this.* It feels like a perfect spot for me… Well, since we’re here, let’s try going inside. Oh! It’s surprisingly spacious! Even if I stretch out my legs, it doesn’t feel tight at all. *Basically a cat lounging.* There’s no partition, so it’s a bit embarrassing— but it feels like a secret base, so it’s fun. My goal is to live in a house like this someday. Honestly, I could totally spend the whole night here. But the place I actually booked today is somewhere else. You won’t believe this sento… They have a space called a “Wood Capsule,” and you can actually stay in it! A capsule hotel fused with a sento— Honestly, that’s like a dream collaboration for me. Here’s what the inside of the room looks like. Unlike that wooden box from earlier, this one actually comes with a pillow, a futon, and everything. Wow… this is just way too fun… Let me give you a quick little room tour. First up, the wall-mounted TV. I don’t wanna end up as “that censored TV person,” so it’s all blurred out. By the pillow there’s a little shelf for your bits and bobs, and there’s even space to put your drinks. Over here you’ve got the fan switch, and the light switch for the room. There’s an outlet and Wi-Fi too, so it’s super comfy. *Forget “staying” here, I could basically live here.* Next, I’m gonna go explore the first floor. Maybe because of the rain, there aren’t many guests today. As a socially awkward human, I totally lucked out. Here’s what the floor map looks like. Looks like they’ve got a stone sauna area called “Jjimjilbang Spa” too. I may not look it, but I’m a total stone-sauna nerd, so later I’m planning to stay in there till I dry up like a prune. There are dining areas on both the first and second floors, and as you can see, the menu is pretty fancy. Look at this. The food is seriously like something from a ryokan. The prices are on the higher side, but you get lots of dishes and everything looks amazing. By the way, the dining area on the second floor looks like this. Like, this is just straight-up a hot spring ryokan, right? I’m getting excited for my little drink tonight (even though I’m supposed to be off alcohol). On the second floor there’s also a chill-out space with these “Mogura Sofas,” with magazines lying around, and a ridiculous number of manga too. This place is insane. Honestly, it’s already fun enough like this, but nope, not yet… It doesn’t really hit peak hype until I change into *that* outfit. Here’s the loungewear I got at the front desk. I usually wear my self-made GORON outfit, but I totally forgot it today… Inside the bag there was a hairbrush, and even toner and makeup remover. With all this, you could literally come empty-handed and be totally fine. You can use the vending machines inside by just tapping this wristband, and then you just pay everything together when you leave. Alright, I’m gonna change into my stone-sauna outfit and go dry myself out. *And I’ll casually do a little smell-check while I’m at it.* It feels really nice to wear too. It’s like… kind of this mostly orangey-orange color, and it’s super cute. Alright, I’m off to the stone sauna! They had a few different types of stone saunas, including one that was like 70°C. There were also these sofa seats where you could probably fall asleep till morning, and even terrace seats outside where you could cool down. Alright, let’s start with the 44°C room. Stone-sauna nerd, heading out. Oh no… at this rate I’m not the rain-girl anymore— I’m about to earn the title of “sweat-girl.” After this, I’m heading to the big bath to get all refreshed. I’m the type who can stay in a stone sauna for hours, so sometimes the staff gets worried about me. I was in there for a full hour earlier without even trying. After the bath, it’s finally dinner time. I was starving, so I’m diving right in. Since I’m supposed to be off alcohol… I ordered corn soup today. Wait… why is my corn soup… suddenly turning into beer? Is this… a hallucination? I’m not allowed to drink since I’m on a no-alcohol streak. Cheers~ I kept repeating “Don’t drink at Shofuku,” but… turns out that didn’t work very well. Today’s plan includes one night with two meals, and get this— the beer was included too! They told me to choose any drink from the menu. They even had pitchers, but… I didn’t have the courage to go that far. For the main dish, I got meat-sauce spaghetti. It looks insanely good… Let’s see how it actually tastes. I’m alive again… This isn’t “Shofuku” (small happiness), this is *big* happiness. Doing an “eat-pose” for the meat sauce feels embarrassing but— I’m still gonna devour it. Honestly I could just keep eating till morning at this rate. Oh right, so this place—Shofuku— actually has 18 different types of baths. And they were all seriously great. And since I’m… 18 years old… I kinda felt like it was destiny. (?) *Please just accept that I’m 18.* She doesn’t show up in the video, but actually— my mom tagged along with me this time, and earlier we were in the hot springs together. Tomorrow, Mom and I are getting on a certain ferry. I’m so hyped for it. *Feel free to guess where we’re headed.* Thank you for the meal. That was an incredibly satisfying dinner. Phew… I’m so full… I definitely drank way too much liquid, so I’m gonna hit the stone sauna again and sweat it all out. Stone sauna → big bath, a perfect flow. I had such a good soak. With this momentum, I wanna win at the UFO catcher too. Let’s do this. That hurt my soul… revenge time. A real woman doesn’t quit here, you know? But… sometimes giving up is important. I’m switching to a different machine. I feel like I can get this one… Let’s see how it goes… Wait— I actually got a bunch of prizes. I’m definitely making these family heirlooms. Post-bath massage chair time. Paying with the wristband makes it feel unreal… kinda dangerous. I really need to be careful… or I’ll go broke in a flash. *I’m staring at the ceiling because this feels kinda embarrassing.* People around me probably think I’m weird… embarrassing… I’m gonna crawl back into my shell and rest for a bit. Bye-bye. After being healed by the massage… it’s mole-time. A bottle of milk after a bath is non-negotiable. Cheers. This hot spring is actually just four stations from Osaka Nanko, so for ferry travelers, the access is insanely good. Before boarding, or after getting off— it’s the perfect place to stop by quickly. Ending a ship trip by relaxing here— honestly sounds pretty fun to me. By the way, yes… I’m super barefaced right now. I was chilling for so long that it suddenly got late, so I’m heading back to my wood capsule soon. Bye-bye. Alright then, good night. And of course, first thing in the morning— the big bath. Okay, I’m heading out. Good morning, everyone. I’m reporting to you from the massage chair. The open-air bath there is super recommended— the vibe was amazing and it was sooo relaxing. And now… it’s finally breakfast time! Let’s dig in. For breakfast you could choose Western or Japanese style, and today I went with Japanese. Miso soup in the morning hits completely different… So warm and comforting. As the title says, my stay this time was ¥4,680 — about **$31**. Normally it’s ¥5,680 — around **$38**. I used a ¥1,000 (about **$7**) coupon from Jalan to book it. A super sento + overnight stay in the $30 range is crazy… I’m absolutely coming back. This price honestly shouldn’t be legal… I’m thinking that while I’m stirring my natto. *Ferry travelers, remember this place— zero loss, all gain.* If you guys have any recommended places to stay, I’d be super happy if you leave them in the comments! By the way, when I ran a Wi-Fi speed test— it was kinda slow during breakfast, but inside the capsule it was around 50 Mbps, so basically: “Don’t mess with your phone while eating.” Overall the place was super clean, and staying literally zero minutes from the big bath— I was totally satisfied. Thank you for the meal. Oh no… I’m soooo full… Now I’m heading to the ferry terminal with my mom and we’re gonna enjoy our ship trip. It’s my first time on this ferry so I’m excited!
