上海ディズニーに初めて行ったら、日本との文化の違いに絶句した…

Hey guys, it’s Yuuka! Today I’m at Shanghai Disney Resort! Yay! I’ve always wanted to come to Shanghai Disney, so I’m super excited! I already bought my ticket online in advance, so let’s head inside! Here we go! So today I’m visiting Shanghai Disney in China —
a place people either love or say is “way too crowded” or “a total chaos.” Some say it’s packed, others say the manners are crazy… But are those rumors really true? Let’s find out for ourselves! Look, the ticket’s so cute! It’s Goofy! Since it’s Saturday, it’s insanely crowded today. It took me about 15 minutes just to get inside. The bag check was super strict— I was using this Osmo camera, and it had a little tripod attached, but they actually confiscated the tripod part… I’m so bummed… Look, look! It’s so cute! Apparently the character here changes from time to time, and today it’s Duffy! ※You won’t know which character you get until you arrive—surprise! Duffy’s seriously adorable. Since the park opened in 2016, everything still feels pretty new. And since we’re at Disney after all— let’s go grab *that* first thing! Look! These headbands are sooo cute! Aren’t they adorable? Which one should I get… There are just too many cute ones! Ugh, they’re all so cute! Wait—these ears are super long! 【Excuse】I swear I’m not talking to myself—I’m talking to my mom, okay? After thinking *way* too long about it… I went with the one that first caught my eye— this adorable CookieAnn headband! It’s so cute! Zootopia’s theme song — ♪Try Everything ※The performance was absolutely amazing! Whoa, look at the castle—it’s huge! That’s incredible… In Japan, the castle at Disneyland is Cinderella’s Castle, but— the one here in Shanghai actually represents *all* the princesses! I think I’ll go check it out up close later. ※We’ve arrived at the world’s first Zootopia-themed area! ※It’s one of my favorite movies, so I’m super hyped right now! There’s a huge bear over there… Kinda scary… We’re now heading to “Voyage to the Crystal Grotto.” This one’s a pretty calm ride, so I think my mom can ride it with me! We’re gonna give it a try! My mom’s not a fan of thrill rides, so if I pick the wrong one, I’ll end up riding alone. And the ride we picked is… “Voyage to the Crystal Grotto!” It’s an attraction where you can enjoy famous Disney movie scenes from the water. With a super cool captain wearing sunglasses at the helm, we sailed deeper into the ride… and found Mickey spinning on top of a storybook! Pretty adorable, honestly. I couldn’t help but start turning my head with him too. After a while, the boat slowly drifted beneath the castle. With Tinker Bell’s magic… I kinda wish she’d make today’s ticket free for me. The scene with Rapunzel’s lanterns glowing on the walls was just magical. The ride itself was super fun, but— there was one sad thing I have to talk about. I’d heard rumors about people cutting in line… and yeah… it actually happened. Even if you’re waiting properly, if you drop your guard for a second, boom—someone cuts right in. You seriously need the mental strength of a Disney villain to survive at Shanghai Disney. ※I swear at least 20 people cut in front of us. Ugh… the worst. But hey, let’s just have fun anyway! Up close, it’s all pastel colors—it looks absolutely adorable. Wow… I went inside the castle! Look at this—so beautiful… They have these gorgeous mosaic artworks of all the princesses here. Oh, there’s Rapunzel! So this castle at Shanghai Disney is called the “Enchanted Storybook Castle.” It’s themed around all the princesses, and it’s said to be the largest Disney castle in the world. ※The inside of the castle is actually an attraction too! There’s Snow White! Wow, the book is moving! It says, “Let’s take a gentle adventure through the world of fairy tales with Snow White.” Wait, what does this say…? “漫游童话时光” What does that mean…? ※Didn’t finish the translation in time. You can actually go *up* inside this castle! Let’s check it out! It’s my first time ever going inside a Disney castle. Such a surreal feeling. I kinda feel like a princess right now. ※Honestly, that’s how I *didn’t* feel when people cut in line earlier. Just got out of the castle! That was so much fun. There were so many stories illustrated inside, it was super immersive and really interesting. Next, I wanna go to Pirates of the Caribbean, but— the map in the app is *so* confusing… Even when I search, it doesn’t come up! I downloaded the Shanghai Disney app, but I have no clue how to use it… How do you even read this thing…? ※Bad sense of direction × can’t read Chinese = literal hell Shanghai Disney is *huge*! It’s apparently the third largest Disney park in the world— #1 is in Florida, USA, and #2 is the one in Paris. I’ve been to the Paris one before, so now I’ve officially conquered two out of the world’s top three Disney parks! They say this place is twice the size of Tokyo Disneyland. It’s about as big as Tokyo Disneyland *and* DisneySea combined. So I’m not sure I’ll get through it all today, but I’m definitely gonna walk as much as I can! There it is—Pirates of the Caribbean! Let’s go check it out! Looks like it’s a 50-minute wait. Alright, let’s tough it out. Thanks to my mom bravely fending off the villains, we actually got on in just about 50 minutes! Finally, it’s time to set sail! This is Shanghai Disney’s most popular attraction, so I’m really looking forward to it! Huh… it’s actually a lot calmer than I imagined…? It doesn’t seem all that different from Japan’s Pirates of the Caribbean… Just as I was starting to feel a tiny bit disappointed— boom, Shanghai Disney’s No.1 ride goes full power mode! I wonder if you can feel the intensity through the video… It’s 360 degrees of screens all around— I honestly couldn’t tell what was real anymore. My mom, who hates thrill rides, has officially reached her limit. “Tell Jack Sparrow…” “If he wants the treasure… he’ll have to fight me!!” ※Things are getting a little… intense. ※The visuals were absolutely insane… I’d love to show you the climax from here, but— YouTube would definitely get mad at me, so I’ll just narrate it instead. Let’s just say… my mom froze completely in terror —and that’s the live report from the scene! Pirates of the Caribbean was absolutely amazing! The visuals were just out of this world— I honestly couldn’t tell what was real and what was a screen. It was seriously mind-blowing. Anyway, I’m starving now, so we came to a restaurant! I ordered the meat platter. Isn’t this huge?! It’s way too big for one person, so I decided to share it with my mom— we just ordered one to split. Tsingtao Beer! Alright then… cheers from Shanghai! ※Wait—no, I think I said that backwards. Mmm, so good. You know, since I’m at Disney, I figured if I don’t drink beer… I won’t have enough *dis-nergy* to enjoy Disney! So yeah… I had to order one! ※By the way, this meal was about 200 yuan— ※roughly $27 in US dollars. ※Totally Disney pricing, but thankfully Mom paid, so my wallet survived. So good. ※I’ll be uploading some unreleased clips in the Members-only video too! Looks like the parade’s about to start, so we came to watch! It started raining again, and it’s freezing— so I’m wearing my mom’s tracksuit. I look kinda lame but… please don’t judge me. After a bit, the Storybook Express parade kicked off! Leading the parade, of course, were Mickey and Minnie! Maybe because of the rain, they showed up wearing cute raincoats. Sorry everyone… looks like my rain-girl curse works even in Shanghai. ※Am I gonna get banned from here or something…? I was secretly hoping one of the characters would make a heart for me, but yeah… reality’s never that sweet. Nope, nobody did. ※My favorite—Duffy and his friends—finally appeared! ※Especially that cute bald little turtle—he’s my favorite. It’s Tomorrowland! “The world of tomorrow.” Oh, this one’s an outdoor ride. I kinda wanna go, but… it’s raining, so I’m not sure. Let’s wait and see. We made it to TRON Lightcycle Power Run! This ride—TRON Lightcycle Power Run— lets you hop on a bike and race through a world of light at full speed—it’s known as Shanghai Disney’s most thrilling ride! It looks so fun! After battling villains for two whole hours in line, it was finally our turn! My mom was all like, “Pfft, easy! I got this!” but then… she suddenly bailed at the last second. So… looks like I’m riding solo! ※More like clinging for dear life than actually riding… Just got off the ride! It was terrifying—but super fun! It really felt like riding a real bike, and everything inside was glowing with neon lights—it was gorgeous. Crazy rides are the best. Even though the wait was long, it was totally worth it! While Mom and I were enjoying dinner, it suddenly started getting dark outside. The whole atmosphere completely changed from the daytime— now it feels more like a full-on party vibe. Some adults are even taking naps in baby strollers, which honestly says a lot about cultural differences here. ※Kinda jealous, not gonna lie. I really wanted to see the big nighttime show, so I waited for an hour in what looked like a good spot— but then people kept sneaking in and taking my place… and eventually, I had no spot left at all. Tragic. “ILLUMINATE! Nighttime Celebration.” The music and lights were perfectly in sync, and the over-the-top effects felt so *uniquely* international. The scale of it all was incredible— I was quietly freaking out from excitement. Honestly, I was a little bummed about losing my spot, but the show was so amazing it instantly blew all that away. Totally worth it. Just like the reviews said—there are pros and cons, but if you can roll with it and see it as part of the whole “overseas Disney” vibe, and face the chaos with a “villains won’t beat me” attitude, you’ll definitely have an awesome time here. So that was my trip to Shanghai Disney! It was seriously so much fun. We were there from early morning until after 10 p.m., and honestly, it’s the longest I’ve ever stayed at any Disney park in my life— but it was totally worth it! Shanghai Disney is *huge*, so there’s no way to see everything in just one day. The rides were super fun, and I got to see both the parade and the show, so I’m beyond satisfied. Disney really is something special. It just warms your heart. If you’ve ever been to an overseas Disney park, or if you have a favorite one abroad, please tell me in the comments! Alright, I’m heading back to Japan now. Thanks so much for watching all the way to the end! If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to subscribe, leave a comment, and give it a thumbs up! Bye-bye!
