[Music] [Music] Can I ask you a question again? Yes. Saki go with this? Oh, yes. Yes. Yes. Do you want to try? And she wants to try must be the gentle. Yes. Shrimp. [Music] You like it? Very different. Never tasted shrimp like this before. Really? Ours has a different taste. Oh, really? Yeah. Very different. Thank you. Please feel free to take from here. Don’t Yeah. She would reach cuz I’m getting Yeah. I don’t think she [Laughter] That was good. Yeah. Very very Oh, yes. Yeah. See what’s inside. Yeah. Oh. Ah. Very confused like the What is that? It’s a yoga pose. A yoga yoga series. Yeah. I want to um mostly this one because it looks so fun. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yoga p. Yeah. Her back is so cute. Yeah. It’s not that she’s using it for cute. [Laughter] It’s so cute. Yeah. [Music] You want to try? Yeah. Okay. [Music] [Music] No [Music] massac. [Music] privilege of your home. Wow. Nice. [Music] No. Are the baker ones? It It doesn’t matter. Doesn’t matter. You can try too. Doesn’t matter. So, I’m with Danish girl. What’s your name? Emma. Emma. I came to this Italian ball with her again. Oh, she’s tired of this. Oh my god. Are you excited for What? [Music] [Laughter] [Music] And you can party. [Music] Woo! They have a toilet downstairs. [Music] New new friends. New friends. Yeah. See my name in shining lights. I’m black, baby. And I’ll write your name. Only one love if it’s torture. [Music] So, we just finished karaoke. How was it? I loved it. It was very fun. Very different. Uh, what was the highlight like from the entire of your trip this time in Japan? I think Onomichi. We went biking there. Biking on a few islands. Oh, really? Oh, yeah. And so, we rode about 70 kilometers in 2 days. And uh it was just a lot of fun. A lot of nature. A lot of nature. Yeah. And a lot of bridges. Um but I love Kyoto, too. It’s very um it got a lot of personality, I think. But I also like this part of Tokyo more than the part I was in last week. Really? Yeah. You said you’ve been to Karaoke Box like with your family twice. Twice already. This is your third time. Oh, yeah. I think my favorite part is like the piggy cafes and hedge cafes and like the the monkey park forest. Ah, in Kyoto. Yes. So you like animal basically? Yeah. What was your least favorite thing? Japanese culture. People here. Oh, the people like the like a cultural thing or like just like can it be anything? No, because just thinking like food wise. Oh, yeah. It’s a big sharp uh food wise. The the weird bean paste, not a big fan of that. Matcha, not a big fan. No, I do. I think also I don’t know if like in Denmark if you order iced coffee, it’s like a real iced coffee. It’s like it’s not just a cold coffee. You need the milk. There’s milk and syrup and like proper stuff. It’s not just like a coffee gone cold. Yeah. Yeah. And the same with an iced tea. Everybody knows like the iced tea, peach, iced tea, lemon. Not just like a cold tea. That’s the worst. Chuck when I order iced tea and I just get like But I’m impressed how uh you eat less sugar in general. Like in all types of meals, there’s just less sugar in it. Yeah. And when I was like at the hotel, you see the children even they go past like the jam and go like over to the fish and stuff. Yeah. That would never happen in Europe. We’re so fit and stuff. I I don’t It’s like I I just thought that like everybody was like loved sugar like genetically, but somehow like people here just like sometimes prefer I don’t know like the the pickled uh uh pickled cucumber on a stick. What is that? It’s like and they eat it like it’s candy. Everything. Yeah. Cold everything. And even like the shaved ice. I mean, it’s not that al unhealthy. Yeah, but it’s not that unhealthy. Is this shaved ice? It’s shaved ice with a little bit of taste on it. It’s like licking snow. Even the kids, like kids in Denmark, if you give them like something sweet, the choice between something sweet and everything else, they will always go for the sweet like like candy or Nutella or It’s a problem because people can lure them into a car and then drive. No. What’s it called? Like Oh my god. Seaweed. I actually love seaweed. Not like wet seaweed. It has to be dry seaweed. I just I also feel safer here. Like um there’s no thieves or like I feel like there’s just no criminals here except for like umbrellas. I’ve heard that they steal umbrellas a lot. No, not the umbrella. But yeah, and also like I don’t know. I feel like men is not as creepy or like more keep their distance more way more respectful. What was your favorite thing about Japan though? Well, except for the piggy cafes and the probably just how helpful everybody is. Like I’ve never been like turned down when I’ve asked for help or anything. They want to show you the whole way to some place. If you ask them, they just follow you all the way over to wherever you asked and you’re like, I just need a direction. But thank you. And yeah, just the kindness and it makes us feel safe, I guess. Yeah. Way more than Europe and welcome. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But there’s there are no trash cans. Yeah. I’m a little annoyed about that. Yeah. It’s really not. Like in in Copenhagen, you will have a trash can every 100 meters. And even though Yeah. more. And even though we have way more trash cans, it’s still way dirtier. Oh yeah. But here people just go around with their trash. And I was confused because there was a place where it said like plastic bottles and I thought it was like plastic because what’s the difference? And then I put another it was a plastic cup, not a bottle. And then there was a lady like no no. And I was Yeah. I was just so um confused with how like proper everything is. Oh, is that that Japanese woman? Yeah. And then I had to carry the plastic bottle everywhere. But I mean, it was fair. I just didn’t know. But I love how at some cafes, like if you ate something and you’re like, “Where do I put my trash now?” Cuz there’s no trash here. And then they’re like, “Just give it to me.” And you’re like handing it. Oh, at the counter. And you’re like, “Um, thank you.” No, but I hate like giving them like my trash. I don’t want them to. But they want to take Yeah, but I don’t I I don’t know. They don’t want to take my trash. I It feels so wrong but it’s so kind of but the Emma’s parent was mentioning about like I thought it’s funny I mean interesting that they points out but like we use like a lot of employees use the both hands to pass something to the customers. So I didn’t as a Japanese like a aspect from Japanese people I didn’t really pay attention to it. So it was really fun to like listen. It’s very stressful. I was I will always reach with one hand and then remember that’s I was very scared coming here that I would do something disrespectful just because you don’t know like because of ignorance and we have like read up on it but it’s difficult to know what is like old tradition and what is something you still do. Yeah. And I was confused as to how like sometimes I hear that you’re not supposed to wear sandals and you don’t walk and eat, but other places I see people wearing sandals and walking and eating. Oh, someone told you not to wear sandals in Japan. Oh, yeah. No, we I I just read it somewhere. Yeah. Yeah. And like off shoulders, you need to have like Now, we have been here sometimes. So, we So, we It’s like my first day wearing this here. All of my clothes are dirty. This is what? I I didn’t know that. No. And everybody’s so stylish. This It’s actually really intimidating. Really? I love how everyone’s just wearing like fancy clothing. Yeah. And it’s so hot. I want to wear like a a tank top and like a really short like shorts, but I can’t because everybody looks so stylish, but I’ll just look like a pale pig. Did you learn any Japanese? nice and um also the um please learn more. And also the thing where you say hello uh um I’m always close to saying kitsune but I know it’s not that. It’s nice. How do you say hello? Oh yes, of course I can spell it in Japanese. And kok is Japanese word. Koke. Karaoke. Karaoke. Yeah. I I don’t know. Yeah. Like American people, you know, like worded weirdly. I mean like like you know like the way they say so like sake. Oh yeah. Tempura tempura or like those are American people. No, it’s just the rest of the world. It’s not even old American. My secret trick is to say it like really fast. Walking while saying it so they don’t notice. The thing I hate the most is like it’s not enough to say once. They have to say it like five times. And that’s fine, but I I can’t say it five times. I can’t even say it once. And then they say something else to me in Japanese. And I’m clearly not Japanese. And I don’t know. And my dad he just speaks Danish back to them. No, I just Yes, he does. And he’s like practical. But yeah, I just kind of panic and I Yeah, because in Denmark you wouldn’t do that. You would say like bye-bye and that’s like if you even said anything, you would just But also every time you meet people they always do like wherever you go. How long down do you go? Like and do you do this or do No, you don’t. No, I don’t think so. It’s in Thailand. Oh, yeah. That’s Thai. I think Oh, then down. So, I don’t I don’t think And is it is it like the deeper you go, is it the more respect or is it just stupid? Oh, no. So, if I go like too deep is like what are you doing? But maybe we have certain like degrees like 30° is the average. Okay. Because in Denmark, you can drink when you’re 16. We started drinking when we were 13. Yeah. Which is like average, I think. Yeah. And and I I was really shocked when I came here and learned that I couldn’t drink or like not that I’ve had any we just kicked out from the karaoke because you didn’t have passport, whatever. Like I don’t know. It’s ridiculous. But it’s going to like it’s just a karaoke. Do you want to say thank you for watching? Give us thumbs up. In Japanese. In Japanese. Why not in Danish? Oh, so you can say Danish and then Japanese. [Music] comes out. I have no idea what you just said. Whatever she said. Just talk quick. Wait, so what was your name again? Helina. Helina Helina. Good job. [Music]
