Hello, I’m Takumi Shina, an Xbox-focused VTuber. Today, I’ll be sharing the latest information on the Xbox titles announced at the Nintendo Direct held on September 12th . Be sure to watch until the end. The release date for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has been set for January 22, 2026. Pre-orders are now open on the Xbox Store for ¥5,478. It was originally scheduled for a winter release, so I was hoping it would be released this year, but it looks like it’s been pushed back to next year. This title also comes with a special early bird bonus. If you purchase it by January 31st, you’ll receive a free remastered version of the original FF7. This includes both the Xbox and PC versions . So, if you buy FF7 Remake by January 31st , you’ll get three titles . The original low price of ¥5,478 is also a welcome break, so this is a very welcome trial run. If you’re interested, be sure to pre-order and wait for the release of this title. Incidentally, it has already been announced that the Final Fantasy VII Remake will be a trilogy , and it has also been officially announced that all three will be released on Xbox . FF7 Rebirth and the unreleased third game will also be playable on Xbox. We look forward to future announcements for this as well. Dragon Quest 7: Birth Imagined has been announced . It will be released on February 5, 2026, for 8,778 yen (tax included) . Pre-orders have begun on the Xbox Store . This is a full remake of Dragon Quest 7, originally released on PS in 2000. A remake was released on 3DS in 2013 , making this the second full remake. While the opening puzzle was significantly simplified in the 3DS version, it has been revealed that the remake has undergone significant changes overall. Specifically, the storyline, battles, detours, and system have been rebuilt from scratch to be more modern and easier to play. Overall store improvements have been made, new popular episodes have been added, and finding enemy platoons has been significantly simplified. Additionally, the system has been changed to eliminate monster colors and allow players to play two human colors. It looks like it’ll be fun to think up combinations. This game is being developed by Kabe Drive. From a quick search, it seems they’ve worked on Hatsune Miku’s Fit Boxing, the Bomberman R series, and RPGs like Final Fantasy XV and Shiki HD. Dragon Quest 7 is one of my favorite titles in the Dragon Quest series, and I always get the impression that Dragon Quest 7 has a lot of dark scenarios. Each stone tablet has its own scenario, like a collection of short stories with dark, sad stories and human drama, making it a bit of a classic Dragon Quest. The remakes of Dragon Quest 2 and Dragon Quest 3 are coming out in October, and I’m so happy that I’ll be able to play the Dragon Quest 7 remake in about four months. I was also very surprised that it was a remake of Dragon Quest 7, and not the popular Sky series or Dragon Quest 8. I wonder what Zaffa’s Sky series will do. If they’re going to remake Dragon Quest 7, these elements are a must-have, and I’m really looking forward to playing the Dragon Quest 7 remake. A remake of Dragon Quest 0 Red has been announced . Hatsushima is scheduled for release in 2026. This is a full remake of the second game in the Zero series, originally released in 2003. The original was released on the original Xbox under the title Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly, and is a highly sought-after game. This remake not only offers a complete overhaul of the graphics and sound, but also the game system and controls. The traditional system of shooting enemies with projectiles to repel them has been supplanted with a more in-depth exploration and combat experience . New elements have also been added that allow players to feel the bond between the sisters more deeply . I’m looking forward to playing the beautifully remade Zero. Super Bullet Double 2 has been announced, scheduled for release in 2026. A remake of the second game in the Ganglong series, released in 2012 for the PSP and in 2022 for the Xbox, is also coming. This was also a huge surprise. The bullets even have movement again. It feels like a remake of 2, not 1 , and fans of the series can’t help but wonder if this isn’t just a remake . The official announcement reveals that a new killing spree will unfold with the same characters as Super Bullet Goodbye Despair Academy , followed by a new scenario with completely different characters and victim tricks. While the game is said to be about the same length as the original , it also includes the original scenario from Super Bullet 2, which has been reworked for current consoles with updated visuals and production . While I still believe that Super Bullet 2 was the most polished of the Bullet series, I’m excited to see what the remake will bring . Incidentally, Monokuma’s voice actor has been changed from Makoto Oyama to Wasabi Mizuta . The Mega Man Perfect Collection, featuring Dora-chan’s superiority, has been announced. Scheduled for release in 2026, this collection includes seven titles from the Mega Man Star Force series, released on the DS between 2006 and 2008. Originally released as an action RPG, it inherited the mechanics of the Mega Man EXE series while incorporating new gameplay elements. While the original version featured two screens on the DS, this collection combines the top and bottom screens into one, allowing for customizable display layouts. Additionally, the game now supports online features, allowing you to battle with faraway friends and trade battle cards. While maintaining the original gameplay, various modes and convenient features have been added. It has also been revealed that it will include a music library and illustration gallery . Honestly, I was very surprised to hear that this title is being released on Xbox . The previous title, Rockman EXE Advanced Collection, was released on platforms other than Xbox, so EXE has yet to be released on Xbox. Since EXE hasn’t been released yet, I assumed that Yuushuu wouldn’t be released on Xbox either , so I was really surprised and happy.
