トランプ氏、プーチン氏にウクライナの一部領土返還要求へ 停戦合意は「私の役割でない」
US President Donald Trump said on Monday that both Ukraine and Russia will have to give up territory to end the more than three-year long war. There’ll be some land swapping going on. I know that through Russia and through conversations with everybody to the good for the good of Ukraine. Good stuff, not bad stuff. Also some bad stuff for both. There’s good and there’s bad. Trump’s comments come just days before his highly anticipated meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. European leaders in Ukrainian President Vladimir Zalinski plan to speak with Trump ahead of his summit with Putin amid fears the US may dictate unfavorable peace terms to Ukraine. Zalinsky warned on Monday that any concessions to Russia would not persuade it to stop fighting. In an evening video address, Zalinsky said there were no signs Russia was preparing to end its hostilities in Ukraine, saying, quote, “They are moving their troops and forces in such a way as to launch new offensive operations.” And adding, quote, “If someone is preparing for peace, this is not what is done.” While Zalinsky will not be in attendance at the Alaska summit Friday, Trump said he would immediately relay the details of the conversation to the Ukrainian leader and expressed optimism about future meetings. The next meeting will be with Zilinski and Putin or Zilinski and Putin and me. I’ll be there if they need, but I want to have a meeting set up between the two leaders. Putin has made a flurry of calls in recent days, speaking to the leaders of China, India, Brazil, and three ex-s Soviet states to brief them on his contacts with the United States.

また、ウクライナとロシアの停戦を巡る合意を結ぶことは「私の役割ではない」と述べ、会談直後にウクライナのゼレンスキー大統領や欧州首脳に協議内容を説明すると述べた。
トランプ氏は、プーチン氏との会談で「建設的な議論ができると思う」と語る一方で、「おそらく最初の2分間でディール（取引）が成立するかどうか判断できる」と指摘。プーチン氏に停戦実現への意思があるかを見極める姿勢を示した。
停戦を巡ってはウクライナにおける「土地の交換」に改めて言及し、同国領土の一部をロシアに引き渡すことを認める可能性を示唆した。
土地の交換については、ウクライナ軍と露軍が対峙（たいじ）する「戦線」の変更を巡り議論する意向で、露軍が占領するウクライナ領土の一部を「取り戻すために努力する」と述べた。
トランプ氏はまた、ゼレンスキー氏や欧州首脳の「意見を聞き出す」とし、プーチン氏との協議に反映させる意向も語った。ドイツ政府によると米欧、ウクライナの首脳によるオンライン会合が13日に開催される予定だ。
ウクライナと欧州側は停戦を巡って米露が頭越しに合意内容をまとめることを警戒している。これに対し、トランプ氏は自身が停戦合意を結ぶのではなく、合意の実現はロシアとウクライナの判断次第との立場だ。プーチン氏とゼレンスキー氏の会談実現に意欲を示し、必要に応じ自身も参加する意向を語った。
米紙ワシントン・ポストは10日、ロシアがウクライナ東部のルハンスク、ドネツク両州の割譲を停戦条件として求める一方で、南部ザポリージャ、ヘルソン両州で露軍が占領する地域の返還に応じる意向はないと報じた。バンス米副大統領は同日放送のFOXニュースで、停戦・和平を巡り「最終的には双方が不満を抱くことになるだろう」と述べ、両国を満足させる合意は困難との見通しを示した。
