【ハレクラニ】一泊20万円のハワイ最高級ホテルに泊まってみたら、全てが桁違いだった…
Hey guys, it’s Yuka! This is the grand finale of my Hawaii series— and I’ve landed somewhere totally insane. And that place is… Halekulani, one of Hawaii’s most luxurious hotels! It’s got over 100 years of history— and it’s one of the most popular hotels in Hawaii! I’ve always wanted to stay here— so today, I’ll show you around on video and have the best time ever! Alright, off we go—Mahalo style ✨ Halekulani means “House Befitting Heaven.” Fitting, right? I mean, I *was* driving the bus to heaven the other day… So maybe I’ve officially arrived in paradise? It’s my first time at a real five-star hotel, so I’m kinda nervous! I was staying somewhere pretty budget-friendly just yesterday, so this is a *huge* upgrade… The contrast is so extreme, it’s stressing me out 😂 *Here’s the vibe at the entrance* When you walk in, you can see the ocean! It’s a little hard to tell on camera, but trust me—the view is amazing. Alright, let’s go ahead and check in! A-lo-haaaa (awkward edition 😅) I’m Suzuki Yuka, check in please. *Made it through the first boss battle* *Staff is kindly explaining everything* *I’m totally overwhelmed but trying to keep up* *Even in Hawaii, my nervous eyes go wild* Made it—check-in complete! Even though it’s indoors, the hotel feels super open and breezy— like a true tropical resort! My room is this way, so let’s head over! There are three restaurants inside Halekulani— La Mer and Orchids are on this side… and over here is House Without A Key! That’s what they told me anyway! *I’m so indecisive I might still be deciding at breakfast* Behind me is La Mer and Orchids— Apparently this used to be the hotel’s main building 100 years ago! Now it’s been renovated and turned into this big, beautiful space. Now we’re heading up to the 5th floor of the hotel! Look how fancy the room key is—so stylish, right? It’s literally made of wood! Here it is—room 568! Alrighty, let’s head inside! Ugh, I’m so nervous… Alright, here we go—open sesame! Whoa, this place is gorgeous. Like… wow. So the room I booked today is a Diamond Head Ocean Front—super fancy. It’s honestly overwhelming… Where do I even start showing you?! Maybe I should just fly back to Japan real quick? 😂 Let’s check out the view from the room! Ready? 3, 2, 1— Umm… can you see this right now? This view is literally insane. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed at, this might be the best view ever. Kinda tempted to keep it to myself… Like, maybe I’ll just hog it all? …But I’m a nice person, so 😌 I’ll let you guys have a peek too! Here’s the view from the room! Tell me this isn’t crazy gorgeous?! I’m legit obsessed. Palm trees and ocean right in front of me. *The water’s so clear I might cry* Staying in a room like this… I feel way too lucky. Honestly, I’ll probably go out on the balcony like 50 more times today just to look at it again. Diamond Head is over there too— I hiked it yesterday! And I swam at that beach too 🏖️ It’s so fun just thinking back on everything. Anyway, let’s do a little room tour now! First up—this king-sized bed! It looks ridiculously comfy. And next to it is a cozy-looking sofa! And check this out—a marble desk! Pretty sure it’s real marble too. *If I break it, I’ll go bankrupt and be stuck here forever* Apparently this hotel reopened in 2019 after a big renovation. Some of you might’ve stayed here before the renovation too! This is what it looks like now post-reno. It’s seriously stunning. It’s always ranked as one of the top hotels Japanese people want to stay at in Hawaii! And over here… what do we have? A coffee maker and some cups, nice and neat. There’s Japanese writing on a bunch of stuff too, which honestly makes me feel super at ease. And underneath that cabinet I just opened— Tada! It’s a fridge! *Water is so pricey here, this is a life-saver* And on the opposite side of the bed, there’s a huge TV. Let’s turn it on. Ooooh look look! Isn’t this awesome? It says “Welcome, Yuka Suzuki”! That kinda makes me happy. And guess what… They even gave me a welcome fruit plate! Umm… is this a little too luxurious?! I’m shocked! And look, they included cookies too! I’ll save those to enjoy later, slowly. And if you open this door… You’ll find the sink area! It’s adorable. The lights are super stylish too— And they even have a bathrobe! I feel like a princess—getting a little carried away here 😆 And look! Full-body mirrors everywhere! I actually bought this outfit here in Hawaii— Isn’t it cute? *Not a hula dance—it’s an anemone dance 😂* Across from that is the bathtub! It’s kinda rare to see tubs like this overseas. So that’s a nice surprise! There’s also a shower space over here on this side. Now I can’t decide which one to use! And behind this door… *A toilet with a mind of its own* Wait, what—why’d it open by itself?! 😳 I’m not even gonna use it but, um… Anyway, yes, there is a toilet too. *Let’s seal it away for now* Over here, there’s a whole set of amenities. Honestly, they’re so fancy I don’t even know what’s what. Here’s some mouthwash— and… what is this thing? *Turns out it’s luxury moisturizer from SPA HALEKULANI* There’s also cotton pads and swabs in this little kit. And if you open this mirror… Surprise— It leads right back to the main room! Isn’t that cool?! It’s like magic! And that wraps up the room tour! Now I’ve made it to the Halekulani pool! Having a pool here is such a win, honestly. Think I’ll play around a bit! First pool visit in Hawaii! Ooooh it’s warm! Yes—love that. This is Halekulani, y’all. I think the room I’m staying in is somewhere over there? The view is just too good. I only brought one swimsuit on this trip, and I already wore it at the beach. I thought about wearing it again, but… since I’m staying at Halekulani and all, I figured I should treat myself to a new one. So I just bought this one in Hawaii earlier! It’s a set with a cute pair of swim shorts— like a comfy two-piece! Isn’t it super Hawaiian and adorable? I checked the pool hours here, and apparently it’s open until sunset! That’s so classy, right? So the staff is just like, “Once the sun’s gone, we’re done!” Chill vibes. Kind of love that energy. *I wanna be off work from sunrise to sunset too* Usually I’m pretty cautious about sun exposure, but when I’m in Hawaii, I’m like, “Eh, it’s Hawaii. Who cares?” Same with shopping—I usually try to be frugal, but in Hawaii I just let go and spend freely. Hawaii kinda makes everything okay. There’s so much I can forgive just ‘cause I’m here. Back in elementary school, around grades 4 to 6, I actually took swimming lessons! I can kinda swim, so watch me! Hold on, I’m gonna go from that side! *Please don’t be too impressed if I’m amazing at it* Here I goooo! *She looks like she’s 5 seconds from drowning 😢* Wait a sec… If I’m not putting my face in, doggy paddle is literally all I’ve got. But hey, I’m actually good at doggy paddle. Used to do it all the time! *Sorry, Mom—those swim lessons might’ve been a waste 😅* Apparently the bottom of this pool is actually art! Like an orchid mosaic? Can you tell? *It’s a tile mosaic of cattleya orchids, fancy stuff* I’m actually super close to hitting 500,000 subscribers! I was gonna make this hotel stay part of a special 500k celebration… but I probably won’t have reached it by the time this goes up 😅 So yeah… jumped the gun a little. But I still wanna do something fun for the 500k milestone! I did spend a lot on this trip though… so maybe I’ll keep the celebration minimal! *Honestly, without Trifa, I would’ve been doomed 🙏* But honestly, coming to Hawaii and playing around like this— I feel like I really filled up my heart with joy. It was so worth it. Mental energy is important, you know? Oh no… people are totally staring at me… There aren’t many people playing alone. I mean, Hawaii’s not really a solo-traveler kind of place… Most people come with friends or family— so being alone really stands out. This is kinda embarrassing… I’m out—bye! Just got out of the pool! It’s still a bit early for dinner, so I’m strolling around Waikiki right now. This area’s just two minutes from Halekulani— and it’s super fun ‘cause there are shops lined up everywhere. Look look! That’s the store where I bought my swimsuit earlier! This is the exact one I got! There are tons of shops like that all around here. I really wanna buy more souvenirs but… I brought a small suitcase this time. And now there’s literally no space left 😭 Should I just get another suitcase? But then I’d probably have to buy extra baggage too… Ugh, what do I do… *Indecisiveness Level: 100* Kids are playing over there… Am I still young enough to join in? But when I actually try to play, I forget how… Is this what they mean by growing up? *Retreat!* I did a lot of exploring in the $70 challenge video, so if you wanna see more walking around and city shots— definitely go check that video out! I went to all kinds of places! *Better head back to Halekulani before I get lost* When I returned, Halekulani had a hula dance show going on! Hope you all get to soak up the Hawaii vibes too! I’ve come to House Without A Key! The menu has Japanese written on it too— which is suuuper helpful. I think I can actually order with confidence! Hmm, what should I get… *The agony of menu decisions has begun* “Up Country” Rib Eye Steak, it is! It’s hard to see, but— You can actually spot Diamond Head from here too! The sun’s setting, and it’s gotten pretty dark now. I ordered this super fancy pineapple cocktail! It even has a dried pineapple on top 🍍 Sipping a drink like this, while listening to live music? Absolute perfection. Okole Maluna! Fueling up 🍹 Uh-oh… this one’s gonna hit me. It looks all cute but the alcohol is strong! “Okole Maluna” is Hawaiian for “Cheers!” by the way. Apparently “okole” means butt 🍑 And “maluna” means lift up, so… It’s like “Lift your butt!”—kinda wild, right? 😂 It’s a little embarrassing to say, honestly. Anyway, let’s all say it together— Okole Maluna! The steak is here! It looks sooo good… Can you tell how big it is? Maybe this helps show the size— It’s about two fists wide. Giant! Let’s dig in! This… this is next-level delicious. This is ʻOno! ʻOno means “delicious” in Hawaiian, apparently. This is full-on ʻOno ʻOno! *A restaurant where everyone can enjoy their own flavor* This steak comes with your choice of one side— I picked white rice, of course. Together, the set cost $58. Yeah, it’s pricey… But everything’s expensive in Hawaii anyway. So it’s just part of the deal… Still, it tastes absolutely amazing. Today’s actually my last full day in Hawaii. I’m gonna miss this… But I’m so glad I got to spend it at such an amazing hotel. It’s gonna be one of my favorite memories. *This video and this moment—part of my life story* Thank you for the meal! That cocktail was such a tiny drink, but I’m totally tipsy 😵 Since it’s my last night in Hawaii… I’m turning the camera off and having another drink or two. *Look at me go—glowing more by the second* Just gonna sip a little more~ Bye bye 💕 After dinner, I had a cocktail at the bar next door— then headed back to my room, took a bath, and changed into this robe! Isn’t this robe kinda cute? It even says “Halekulani” on it! I’m gonna do a little nighttime skincare and chat with you guys while I unwind. I was out in the pool today, so I got a pretty decent sunburn… So now I’m slathering on some after-sun care— lathering it up like crazy! When I came back to my room after dinner, it was all cleaned up beautifully— they even hung my swimsuit to dry! I was so surprised… All the hotel staff are super friendly, and they’re always so thoughtful and caring. They’ll just casually start chatting with you and stuff. That really makes me happy. Since today’s my last day here, I’ll be flying back to Japan tomorrow. I’m flying ZIPAIR again, same as my trip here. Same airline and everything. But since it’s the same as before, I’m just gonna fly home without filming this time. It’s gotten dark out now, so I checked the view earlier… and honestly, you can’t see anything at night 😅 I hope I can catch a nice sunrise before I leave tomorrow. Okay, sun care complete! And since I’ve got an early morning… I think it’s time to go to sleep. Good night 🌙 Good morning! It’s not even 6 AM yet… and I just got out of the bath, no makeup, so I can’t show my face right now 😅 The morning view is gorgeous, so I stepped out onto the balcony. In Hawaii, balconies are actually called “lanai” apparently! Starting the day with this view is just the best. I filmed a time-lapse earlier— Did you like it? Wasn’t it stunning? It’s actually still recording right now! I’m super curious to see how it turns out too! I really don’t wanna go home… One last look—burning it into my eyes, nose, and mouth (aka face memory)! I’ve officially fallen for Hawaii. Alright, time to get ready for the day! Gonna head out and grab some breakfast! I kinda spent a lot at the restaurant and bar last night… *The kind of bill that sobers you right up* So now I’m heading to a bakery just across the street from the hotel. Gonna keep it a little more budget-friendly today. I mean, if I were a millionaire— I’d totally be going to a fancy breakfast spot. I’d be eating something gourmet right now. But since I’m not there yet, bread it is 🍞 *Though let’s be real—I’d probably still choose bread even if I was rich* I’ve just arrived at Halekulani Bakery! It’s said to be the most beautiful bakery in all of Waikiki! Their display is full of super cute pastries. Honestly, the portion sizes are enough to fill you up for the whole morning! I grabbed some milk, a croissant, and a danish from the bakery! Let’s dig in—bon appétit! The vibe was really nice, and the place was super popular. This croissant is huge! It’s so flaky and delicious. And the view from here is amazing too— absolute perfection. Does it ever even rain in Hawaii? Even me—the ultimate rain magnet—got nothing but sunshine! Everyone’s out there surfing and having a blast today too. There’s even a boat over there! Man… Hawaii really is the best. Wanna see one last thing before I go? *It’s not hula—it’s the “Hula-Too-Expensive-to-Function” dance* *Try it next time you get the check—discount not guaranteed 😂* Anyway, it’s almost time for my flight, so I’m gonna go check out now. So sad… Bye bye! I’m definitely coming back. Just finished checking out. Halekulani was seriously amazing. I mean, everything about it was just perfect. First off—the view. The view from the room was incredible. It was the kind of view that made me so glad I came. And the pool was amazing too, and the food was delicious! The pool had the ocean right in front of it, so you could feel the sea breeze while swimming. And the food—there was hula dancing and live music while eating, and the steak was out of this world! I went to dinner around 7 PM, right during sunset, and the whole vibe totally changed— It was like getting two experiences in one. So magical. The whole vibe of Halekulani is super calm and peaceful— it’s surrounded by nature, and flowers bloom everywhere. It was seriously healing. If I had to rate how much I wanna come back from 1 to 10… it’s a 150. I’m gonna keep working hard so I can come back again someday. Next time, I wanna try staying in an even nicer semi-suite room! And that’s a wrap for the Hawaii series! Thank you so much to everyone who watched all the way to the end. If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up, leave a comment, and subscribe! I’d really appreciate it! See you next time! Mahalo 🌺
