Narihira Takeru is a high school delinquent. One day, a sudden accident sends Takeru plunging over a cliff. When he comes to, he finds himself in a technologically advanced version of ancient Kyoto called “Denji Heian-kyo.” Takeru is elated over this fateful encounter he’d been dreaming about, but then he finds himself caught in a sudden outbreak of the black mist, inside which both he and Tsukimiya lose their lives to a monster called an oni. He makes up his mind to learn onmyo techniques from Abeno Seimei, so he can fight back as an onmyoji against the future in which Tsukimiya loses her life !
