you’re referring to all of it as crypto. And even though technically, linguistically, dictionary wise, Bitcoin is a form of currency powered by cryptography, aka cryptocurrency. The term crypto has now through semantic drift moved on to mean only those tokens that are issued by a centralized authority like Ripple along with tokens that may have some utility in the future like uh a decentralized software application that’s powered by this token you know in kind of an Ethereum Ium style manner or just full on Farco Quinn.
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency may seem like they’re one and the same, but they’re not.
