Why Did People Get Banned for Asking About COVID-19?
One of the questions about co 19 is like what is co 19 and we had a spectrum of answers right like the more conventional CDC approved at the time answers more likely this is a natural occurrence to you know it’s a hoax 5G this that or whatever to uh it may be a lab leak at the time if I’m not mistaken people were literally getting shadowbanned kicked off social media for daring to utter that idea when like if we don’t have a mature relationship with information where we’re not just marching through the process of investigating and trying to figure out what’s true, we could head towards an entirely incorrect answer altogether off a cliff. And if issues that arrive at our civilization become higher and higher stakes and we just consider some information is not even worthy of engaging with, then maybe we all end up falling off a cliff together.
