Diorexquis Through Miki Nakatani’s Eyes

I am in the South of France in Cote d’Azur for the Dior High Jewelry show. This one is called “Pluie d’Été”. All the diamonds that are fixed onto the opal, you have the impression of having some part of a painting. How precious it is. When you make it move, you can see the fires of the opal changing. This is more about flowers. You can feel the perfume from these jewels. This is a double ring. It’s so refined. Would you like to wear it? Yes, please. It’s really like the… Mediterranean Sea. Exactly. It’s just magic. So beautiful. How beautiful. It’s sparkling beyond eternity. Christian Dior bought this house in 1950. We are in the private room of Christian Dior. His favorite flower was Lily of the Valley. They smell so good. So now we are in the office, the place where he drew. We are about to experience Victoire de Castellane’s unmatched creative work, right here, right now. If I can be perfectly honest, every piece was amazing. What stood out to me was the opal doublet. The piece was a
beautiful fusion between opal and diamonds. It was like sneaking into
a secret world no one has ever seen.

From the moment she arrived at Château de La Colle Noire for the Diorexquis presentation, Dior Ambassador Miki Nakatani was swept into the dreamlike world of #DiorHauteJoaillerie. Follow her as she wanders its storied grounds, previewing the dazzling designs by Victoire de Castellane, before stepping into her very own fairytale gown by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The experience culminates in a moment of awe, as the evening mirrors the emotion she carries – one of beauty, reverie, and lasting enchantment.
