Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Maizuru Air Base SH60 Series helicopter. This helicopter is based on the SH-60J model, which Mitsubishi Heavy Industries produced and modified in Japan under license from the Sikorsky SH-60B, and is thought to be either the SH-60K model, which is a further extensive modification of the SH-60J to suit Japan’s unique needs, or the SH-60L model, which is a further modification. The main rotor is made of composite material and has angled wingtips, and the ceiling has been raised and extended further forward from the narrow cabin of the SH-60B. Various equipment has also been significantly modified.
海上自衛隊 舞鶴航空基地 SH60シリーズヘリコプター。このヘリコプターは三菱重工がシコルスキーSH-60Bをライセンス得て日本で生産し改造したSH-60J型を基本とし、SH-60Jを更に大幅に日本独自に改造したSH-60K型か、そして更に改造したSH-60L型、どちらかと思われる。メインローターを複合素材で製造し翼端形状に角度をつけ、SH-60Bの狭いキャビンから天井を高くして更に前に伸ばしている。各種装備も大幅に変更されている。
