What’s up everybody? Mr. Hunka Day here. Today we talking about women’s tennis. Wimbledon quarterfinals. Laura versus Arana. Y’all know who they are. The women’s quarterfinals was amazing. And of course, I went for the underdog. The odds was plus 120. That Laura would be plus 4.5. Now, I usually like going for the underdog cuz I feel like the underdog usually wins a overwhelming majority of the time, particularly in other sports, but in tennis, it happens a whole whole lot. A lot of upsets, a lot of people who we don’t think should be coming through and winning end up winning. Look what happened to Coco Golf just the other day. So, in this particular event, I decided to go heads up, heads up on Laura because I knew it was going to be a grudge match despite her world rank and the fact that she’s ranked below Ariana. I just felt like she was going to go for it. I like Laura’s backhand. I like her speed. I like her agility. Even though she ain’t up to par what I think that tennis really should be, I felt like for the purpose of the quarterfinal match, she was going to be able to cover for me. And she did. Now, in this particular case, I simply needed Laura to either win outright or to lose by less than four and a half games. Four and a half games. And her competitor, Ariana, Orana, I’m sorry, Ariana, I keep pronouncing her name wrong. She is, you know, ranked number one in the world right now in women’s singles. So, this could have easily been a wipe out. Could have easily been a wipeout. Arana has been on a tear lately. She’s been kicking butt, taking names. you know, it wouldn’t surprise me if she won this thing overall. This is just a quarterfinals, but it still wouldn’t surprise me if she won it overall. So, Laura really had to come through and bring her aame. You know, I’ve been impressed with Laura in a few things like her I love her serve. I love her backhand, you know, and I love the work the amount of work she been putting in. But Aha, she just been she’s just been on on the like a a wrecking ball lately, you know, and I believe she’s going to knock most of these girls out of the water when it come to, you know, the semifinals, the next round, and when it come to eventually the finals. Hopefully, she make it. But this particular bet was plus 120. So plus 120, you know, if you bet $1,000, plus 120 would give you a payout of approximately $1,200 profit. Now, on this one, I got a profit boost. It gave me a 25% profit boost. So instead of paying me plus 120, which plan me plus 150. So you bet $20,000 on this, you ended up profiting $30,000. You walk away with a grand total of 50 including your original wager. Now, this is only cuz I got a profit boost, but the straight up bet was plus 120 odds that Laura would win outright or lose. She had to lose by less than four and a half games, and she covered. Now, this was, like I say, a grudge match. I wasn’t expecting Laura to really hang on and go as hard as she did, but she did. She eventually lost, but she covered for her brother. Now, I’m not the smartest man in the world, you know. I’m not even the best tennis player in the world, but one thing I do know is a killer when I see one. And Laura is a killer. She got hard. She held on pretty good. You know, she took Arana all the way to the wall with it. And uh I I think that Laura, you know, she should still hold her head up high. She shouldn’t be too mad about herself. She should be too mad at herself and make it seem like she’s, you know, just straight dumpster juice trash. Now, still got some good sponsorships. You know, there’s a lot of tennis players out here that’s just trash. A lot of them are only good or only succeed because, you know, they get they born into privilege or they born into families that already got money and got resources, but they’re not really that talented. They’re not really that fast. They’re not really that agile. They’re not really that strong. They serve is trash. They backhand is trash. And they really got nothing really to stand on. But, you know, Balora is not one of those people. So, in the end, Ronnie ended up winning, advancing to the semifinals, winning eight games to six. So, you know, Laura recovered. Laura recovered for me. And, you know, good luck to her next week, next month, next year, whatever she going to be doing next. She took a hell of a butt whooping. She took a hell of a butt whooping. And, um, we’re going to see things how things play out for Arana cuz Arana really, really, really, really is on a tear right now. I’mma stay following her. I may put a few wages on her for the next for the next match, the semifinals. I don’t know who she’s going to be going against next. he goes and plays again on the 10th after winning the semi the quarterfinals today. So, we’ll see how that play out.
