For the next two and a half hours that we will be spending with each other, I will be referring to you guys as Ohana. Now, what we’re going to be doing on this tour is exploring the Jurassic side of Kuoa Ranch. We’re going to see some movie stats and movie sets from three of the movies filmed in the Jurassic series. We have Jurassic Park, the first one, the original, Jurassic World, and Jurassic World Falling Kingdom. You guys in the back? All right. All right. Where we are right now. Nothing has been altered or manufactured from the ranch here. The only things we’ve added is the raptor on the left, his name is Smiles. The raptor on the right, his name is Cuddles. These are the good ones. That’s why they’re still out. but everything else from Jurassic World. But now with a quick show of hands, is anybody here a Lost fan? No. Okay, never mind then. I’m just kidding. If you guys have a look to your left, this is an actual World War II bunker, but was featured in the filming of the moment that I’m sure most of you guys have been waiting for. Everybody, welcome to your assart. But after that, I got a fun little activity, some photos for us to take with the log to our left. But remember how you guys thought it was impressive that Chris Pat ran across that field 20 times? Well, you guys have a look to your right. The tree land right here, that’s where he started. He ran all the way down the hill, past the bunker, past the signs, all the way to the road that you guys see at the mountain 17 times over the span of 3 days for a scene that lasted 5 seconds in a movie. Well, guys, not bad for him. You got paid millions to do it. Give me just 1 million. I’ll run up to seven this time. For this stop, we’re actually going to be able to go onto the set itself. Now, before we actually go onto the set though, we have to come down this hill around the turn. Also, this road that we drove up on, from the log to where we are now, never existed until this scene did. They built this road only to bring up all 235 extras that was used for this scene. And this road costed the production team $50,000. You’re almost again talking about the amount of effort. Wild that they just like, but the reason why they just left it was Now, the show that used this area in their in their TV show, it’s going to be coming out on Apple TV August 1st known as Chief of War. It stars Jason Mamo. And if you guys were ever curious about Yeah, guys, once again, the Boneyard from Kong Skull Island, everything here used in the movie in Jurassic Park when the T-Rex eats the Galamus. If you look behind the T-Rex, you can see the right gorilla head as well. The shade comes over or it gets nice and cool, they’ll come out and forge around. Yes, once again the wild boar, the pua coaster is known as Moi. To the left of that island, you guys are about to see another island that is in the shape of a turtle named Moapu. All righty, everybody. So, off to our left, the Moy Fish Pond here is actually the second most filmed area on the entire ranch. One of the craziest things to happen here was from Jurassic World. You guys remember the scene where the mosasaur jumps out of the water, grabs the great white shark, pulls it back down. The right side of the pond is the Mosasaur tank. But all righty guys, before we head on forward, there’s a chant that we must do before entering into the Hakipiku Valley. So, I’m going to need your guys’ help. I’m going to say it first, but you guys have to repeat after me loud and proud. Is everybody ready? All right. So, everybody say it. Wow. Now, put it together. Wow. Glad you guys enjoyed the view.
