初心者注意!?間違った色の塗り方 5選

My channel covers all aspects of drawing. Among them, there are many worries about coloring. In particular, you try your best to color but it just doesn’t work. What is wrong with my coloring? There are so many questions like that. I’ll be the first to say it. I’m not saying that this way of painting is absolutely wrong and that you should stop using it. Also, I wouldn’t say that paintings painted in this way are terrible. Even the painting method that I am introducing this time as a bad method. Because there are certainly examples where it works. But here is the method I will show you. At least that’s what I’ve seen. This is an example of how there is a high probability that this method of painting will not work. And to avoid it. I will tell you what you should pay attention to when coloring. Just watch this video. I’m trying my best to color, but for some reason it never turns out well. Also, it doesn’t look like what I like. You will get rid of all such worries. If you pay attention to this, you can paint it in a way that suits your taste. This will make coloring fun every time. I think your feelings will change in that way. Please be sure to watch until the end. Let’s get started. It’s SHABA SHABA paint. That’s just what I call it. This is a painting technique that is quite common among people new to digital painting. Select a brush with texture like this. The method is to simply paint roughly on a white-based screen. I wonder if there are people who draw in this way? But this won’t work. If you do it this way, there’s a good chance it won’t look good. The reason is that… Please take a look. The white background is visible through the film. This rough, show-through base makes the screen look empty. And that ruins the look. You put in a lot of effort to paint the whole thing. But I think you can see that it’s a somewhat messy, scribble-like picture. This would be a waste of all the hard work you put into coloring it. To avoid this, I think it’s a good idea to apply a primer first. Even though ultimately you want to finish off with a textured brush. First apply a primer coat. Hair is hair. Skin color is skin color. Clothes are clothes. In this way, let’s separate the layers for each part. This will create your base primer. Like before, the white of the background shows through. This has the effect of preventing the overall impression from looking like rough scribbling. So, I’m done priming. I continue painting on top of this with the same brush as before to add texture. So then. I haven’t changed the way I paint significantly since before. However, more and more texture is being added to the undercoat. And I think you’ll see that it turns out to be a very nice, tasteful finish. Similarly, don’t just start painting the background on a white base. First, paint the sky blue as a base. Add white clouds and darker colors to the sky. And that’s the finished product. If you compare it to the previous one, the finish is completely different. If you want to create a textured painting. Instead of just roughly painting on a white base. I recommend applying a base coat first and then layering the texture on top. Next comes the effect painting. Earlier, I used a special method of painting. So I changed to a more conventional painting method. From here on, I will continue painting based on this picture. This is another commonly seen example. I call this effect painting. What kind of paint is this? Mainly when painting characters. Instead of adding shadows to each of the hair, skin, and clothing layers that you separated earlier. It’s a method of adding light from above all at once, like this. It’s a way of painting that applies an effect from above. So I call it effect painting. Then, when painting shadows, do the same, painting over the entire area with a brush that has a blurred edge. I paint the shadows quite roughly like this. I often see people adding shadows like this. This also doesn’t work. Even professionals use this technique. But that’s a bit too rough a way of doing it. If you do this. The impression of the painting you have worked so hard to create becomes blurred. And on the contrary, it will cause the appearance to be spoiled. Now I’ll show you a good example of effect painting. Earlier I applied a very strong light over a wide area using a brush with a strong blur effect. Be a little more delicate here. This is a painting that I drew with great care. So please handle it gently and gently. If you want to accentuate the highlights. Only add a thin layer of light around the highlights, without increasing the brightness too much. Please be gentle when doing it. You can also add some vibrancy to the skin tone shadows and in the eyes. But here too, please be gentle and soft. The same goes for shadows. Once you add a layer of multiplication. You don’t have to go for such pitch black tones. It’s fine as long as it’s thin. You can choose a light grey that is a little darker. Add to the shadow with the intention of slightly increasing the gradation of the existing shadow. Do it softly like this. There’s no way such delicate work could have such an effect. You may think that you won’t be able to tell the difference unless the colors are more clearly defined. That’s completely wrong. Take a good look. Before and after adding effects. Even though it was such delicate work, I think you can see how the painting has become richer overall. The effects are just an added touch. It’s better to create the general impression using the base color instead. The contrast is strong. Plus, it looks more appealing to the masses and gives a nice finish. Please keep this in mind. Next, the shadow is high. Next up, a short part for a change of pace. Be careful as many people do this too. Here, we will use skin-colored shadows as an example because they are easy to understand. It’s not just about skin color. To make the shadows appear darker. This is the pattern where the saturation is increased as well as the brightness. This won’t work. It makes the painting look a little gaudy. If anything, I would like the shadow to be more subdued and visible in the background. On the contrary, the shadow asserts itself. I want to tell them to calm down because the shadow is not the main character. If you want to darken the shadows in the picture. Simply adjust the brightness down without increasing the saturation too much. Or add another multiply layer like this. I also recommend adding a darker shadow using a slightly purple-gray color. If you do that, the shadow areas will be different from before. While still maintaining the impression of a supporting character. But the contrast is also increased. I was able to create an overall more refined impression. This method is highly recommended, so please give it a try. Next up is some dense background material. The next mistake is when someone thinks it’s too much trouble to draw a background and ends up overdoing it. On the other hand, people who feel uncomfortable doing something may end up overdoing it. For example, leaf materials are commonly seen. I’m sure you all often draw trees and leaves in the background. It would be a pain to draw each and every leaf in the background. I think I might use a leaf brush like this. Indeed, just by placing it on the screen, high-density leaves are rendered. So, that’s interesting. But you have to be very careful. This is interesting. The density increases rapidly. You may get so excited that you just keep drawing. No matter how you look at it, this is too close a connection. It will be like a jungle. When using a leaf brush like this. Especially when you put high density material on a deformed background. Conversely, be careful not to make the density too high. In this case. This is enough already. It’s okay if it’s not too dense. And then on top of the material that’s placed in the background. Add light and shadows from sunlight filtering through the trees. Please add a little bit of your own design like this. This allows you to capture even dense background material. It allows the character to blend in with the deformation without standing out from the picture. I would like to use a cloud brush for the sky as well. That would make the density too high. Please draw it roughly like this. I used background material casually. However, there is no sense of incongruity in using background material. I think we were able to blend it in neatly. When using background material. On the contrary, the density became too high. Be careful not to make the unintended discomfort too strong. Next, repeat the same process for the whole thing. Finally, here are some bad ways to paint. This is a mistake that people who are very particular tend to make. What is that? It’s a painting technique where you repeat the same process over the entire painting like this. By adding a slightly lighter line along the hair line like this. It definitely emphasizes the flow of your hair and makes it look better. However, if you apply this process to the entire image… The pictures become too tedious. Plus, it ends up looking flat overall. It would be a waste to go through all the effort and have the opposite effect. The solution to this problem is simple. You only need to use it on a few parts so you don’t have to repeat the same process. When you want to emphasize areas along the hair line. You choose one or two spots that will be most effective and pull lightly. Don’t repeat the process too much on other parts. Even if you want to, please hold back. If the brightened line is long. In this way, you can create variation by changing the brightness between the top and bottom. Also, this kind of idea is effective because it prevents the surface from becoming flat. What do you think? They have strong preferences. Inevitably, there are times when the process ends up being repeated more generally. If you overdo it, your painting can become flat and boring.
