日本の五輪招致「歓迎」 IOCのバッハ会長

Very nice to see you guys. uh that we we understand uh what uh happened uh there uh within uh uh Japan because of uh the business practices of uh some Japanese uh business the people. Japan is very much uh welcome back uh to uh the Olympic scene at at the highest uh level. Uh if we can be sure on the IOC side that these Japanese business practices this kind of corruption is is over and is uh and has been addressed. You have the the Asian Gamesu next year uh which is a huge event. You have world championships, world cups here and uh uh you have a period of uh I think the most uh successful uh Olympic athletes ever. uh when you look uh back at Tokyo with your medal hall in in in in Tokyo and how the Japanese public uh contrary to published opinion you know was uh reacting in a in an extremely positive way. uh 90% of the Japanese people glued to their TV watching the game supporting uh their athletes there. I may have to disappoint you that uh maybe you know the the best moment uh was uh after the closing ceremony of Paris. So this circle closed and this is why you know this was a a moment of somehow an emotion a mixed emotion of a a pure joy and relief and there I know you know that she has this very clear compass of the Olympic values. And uh you know she has uh she has been elected uh because she has the the professional uh and the human qualities uh to be uh very a good president of uh the IOC in leading the Olympic movement in a in a even a better future and uh therefore I’m I’m really very again you know very at ease and very very confident
