The Royal College of Nursing is reportedly going to declare a national emergency, saying the NHS is in crisis and patients are being put at risk due to shortage of staff.
Former NHS chairman Martin Gower tells Talk’s Mike Graham that focus should be concentrated on the things that are going to get the right result. He says: “Anybody who has worked in any large organisation knows that.”
Mike thinks the NHS is run by a bunch of bureaucrats “who are appointed by politicians that don’t know what they are doing.”
