ケイティ・ロビンスがショーランナーと製作総指揮、ルーシー・チェルニアクが監督と製作総指揮、ラシダ・ジョーンズが主演と製作総指揮を務めるApple TV＋「サニー」の予告編が解禁となった。ほかに、西島秀俊、ジョアンナ・ソトムラ、ジュディ・オング、YOU、アニー・ザ・クラムジー、國村隼らが出演。
「サニー」でジョーンズが演じる主人公スージーは、京都に住むアメリカ人女性。謎の飛行機事故で夫と息子の消息がわからなくなり、人生が一転。「お見舞い」として手渡されたのは、彼女の夫が勤める電子機器メーカーが製造したという、サニーという名の新型家庭用ロボット。慰めようとしてくるサニーに対し、最初、スージーは腹を立てるが、やがてふたりの間には予想しなかった友情が生まれていく。
そんなふたりは、スージーの家族に本当は何が起きたのかを一緒に探っていくうちに、まるで存在を知らなかった恐ろしい世界に足を踏み入れていくことになる。
