How A Japanese Mom In Late 30’s Stays Healthy: A Day Of Eating

[Music] when I have time in the morning I try to serve myself with a variety of ingredients as for a main dish I put the rice and top tofu along with Bonito flakes chop spring onion some pickles and show you koi which is fermented soy sauce there no name for this dish I just improvised by combining what I had in the fridge and this miso soup I have onion cabbage carrot and mushrooms miso soup is like an eating supplement for me this beautiful purple turning pickle is a leftover from Sunday meal prep I have a recipe on my website so let me put the link in the description box it’s table setting is called do is site in Japanese composed with one rice one soup and one side dish not too staged but every time I make this reminds me of eating mindfully so today’s agenda is to do the recipe tting for June ikai cooking club cooking session we’re going to be making three addictive dressing recipes so I’m going to go to supermarket to get some inspiration from there I’m drinking tomato juice we in a glass that my team member in phing gave it to me thank you thank you m [Music] [Music] oh I [Music] so vibrent and beautiful o i [Music] so it looks so beautiful so there is still some room for improvement but I can’t wait to share with you guys cook with you guys it’s so delicious and I also welcome a couple of you outside of ik Cooking Club so please subscribe to our free newsletter if you are interested you’ll be the first one to know now it’s 400 p.m. but I don’t feel like cooking at all but I have a the steamed rice in the freezer and then leftover miso soup from today and what else I have a dressing so I can just chop off the vegetable and then drizzle the dressing but I still have to cook the main dish with the protein so I’m going to use the rice cooker let me show you the fish dish using the rice cooker it’s very easy but it’s PE uh it’s the family’s favorite okay Yellow Tail can you see it’s been 10 minutes after I sprinkled some salt and I don’t know if you can see this through the screen but you can see some moisture on the surface it start to seep out and that the stinkiness coming from the fish so you want to we want to remove by tapping the paper towel many of you may feel overwhelmed to cook fish because they are difficult to cook I’m actually one of them while fish is good for your body we often stick to simple methods like grilling or frying however with this recipe simply putting the ingredients in the rice cooker result in such tender and delicious fish it’s a recipe that makes us feel like we can do it so after P pouring the the boiling hot water over the Macaro we put the Macaro into the hot bath oh this is not the Macaro we put into the the very ice bath to remove the the stinkiness [Music] leak and Ginger is must t for this particular recipe because it’s going to reduce the stink of fish but D radish is actually optional it’s just very popular to have a combination of Yellow Tail and dyon radish but I think you can swap for some root vegetable like potato and carrot if you want [Music] [Music] set it on the regular mode and start it’s going to take us 62 minutes for this time after the heat T it’s done you can eat right after it’s cooked but as it’s cool down the fish and D Rish is going to soak up all the sauce and it become taste even better so I’m going to let it sit for 1 hour this is another my favorite Rice Bowl can you see so [Music] beautiful I think I already showed you with Sakura isn’t it beautiful and there’s also a Sakura inside this is for miso soup today okay daon it’s so tender I can tell that but the fish was on top of the dcon so it was a little dry so I’m going put into the soup [Music] o the dressing that we made for the June cooking session and the main dish [Music] [Music] [Music] so you may notice I’m making less video on YouTube recently compared to before and that just because table wear project is taking a lot of time than I expected like creating logos or creating leaflets talking to the Craftsman Etc like many more so once it’s launched it which is it could be like in a month or so I can make more videos on YouTube so bear with me and I can’t wait to share the table wees with you guys thanks for being with me this for byebye
