Hayabusa2 is an asteroid sample return mission being carried out by the Japanese space agency, JAXA which was launched on 3rd December, 2014. It collected two samples from the asteroid, one through touchdown (shown in the above video) and the other one by using a kinetic impactor, shot from a safe distance. It is currently on its route to Earth and will reach Earth in December 2020.
