The Greenland tsunami in 2017 may be considered a mega-tsunami due to its incredible initial wave natural disasters.
In the evening of June 17th, 2017 , a gigantic landslide occurred on the southern slope of the Umiammakku Nunaat peninsula falling into the Kangilleq fjord natural disasters.
The tsunami wave was initially over 300 ft high, and reached the small village Nuugaatsiaq. The tsunami caused the death of four people natural disasters. Furthermore, seven people were slightly injured and two people were seriously injured and a lot of buildings were destroyed natural disasters.
