Actress Kyoka Suzuki has long been known as an art lover. She was the navigator for the audio guide at the “Gerhard Richter Exhibition” held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo from June to October this year, and commented, “I have really loved Richter since I saw his still life painting “Candles” in Germany when I was in my 20s.
Suzuki also attended a press conference for the art event “Art Week Tokyo” on October 27. Suzuki, who is an ambassador for the event, appeared at the presentation in a chic black dress, and here again she mentioned that she was in the art club in high school and had a yearning to be a curator. She also revealed that there was a time when she thought about going to art school, but gave it up when she started working in the entertainment industry…
