Hayabusa 2 lifted off on Dec 3, 2014, viewed from JTA flight 274 from Naha, Okinawa to Kansai, Osaka. Although you can not see the launching pad because of the cloud, you can see Hayabusa 2 coming out of the cloud. Thanks to the pilot, the flight got just to the point west of Tanegashima Island at 13:22:04. I think he must have adjusted the flight speed to get right to the spot on time, because the flight got delayed arrival by 10 minutes at Kansai Airport. Again thanks to the pilot. It really was a thrilling experience to see Hayabusa 2 with the naked eye, not on TV!
